Do you have a favorite RV trip of all time?

Think back over alllll the miles you’ve traveled in your RV. The places you’ve seen, the campgrounds you’ve stayed in, the little moments that stuck with you long after the trip ended. For today’s poll, we want to know if you have a favorite RV trip of all time.

For some of you, the answer is an easy yes. One trip rises above the rest—maybe it was the destination, the people you were with, or just how everything seemed to fall into place. Perfect weather, great campsites, unforgettable views… the kind of trip you’re still talking about years later.

Others might have a few favorites. It’s hard to choose just one when so many trips hold special memories. A national park adventure, a cross-country journey, a quiet weekend that turned out better than expected—each one stands out.

And then there are those of you who feel like every trip has been your favorite in some way. Each journey brings something different, which is why RVing is so rewarding.

Of course, some of you are still waiting for that “favorite” trip to happen. Maybe you’ve had good trips, but you know the best one is still ahead—and that’s part of what keeps you planning the next adventure.

So what about you? Do you have a favorite RV trip of all time? Go ahead and vote in today’s poll, and if you feel like sharing, tell us where it was and what made it so special. Thanks!

From tent camping in Yosemite, Yellowstone to the Travel Trailer and Motor Home and Cabin Cruiser in Canada before 9/11 and trips through the East Coast, we enjoyed many trips. Wish I felt the hassle was worth it to go back to Canada, but I don’t want to deal with the US Border cops on the return trip. Was so much nicer in the 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s when you could just pop across and back with no hassles.

Every trip is special. RV is a lousy lawn ornament. Get out and use it.

Sounds cliché, but even the few that had issues or ended abruptly due to flooding still have provided us with memories and something to laugh about many times. So every camping trip is a favorite until the next one!

Our.all-time favorite is our first trip to Alaska. The weather was perfect and we got to see MT Denali three days in a row, something that is extremely rare. That was 30 years ago and we still talk about it.

We are now on our favorite trip. Wife and I retired and have been traveling the country the last 1 1/2 years. We are in Florida for the winter but will be working our way up to New England to spend the summer with family and fly to Alaska to attend our niece’s graduation from college.

I absolutely agree. To not only have an RV but the means to use it is a blessing not extended to many. Even when I’m armpit deep in repairs or unscheduled expenses, I pause to realize how so few will never experience RV ownership and the joys it can bring.

Sorry but again you leave me with no selection but no. The reason I have to say no is we are not done yet! I have no idea what beauty we will see this summer or God willing the summers to follow.

Our first trip with friends was to York Beach, Maine. When we arrived, we talked with the locals about what would be the best places to see. We didn’t have far to travel as York Beach and York Harbor were celebrating their bicentennial. The parade and the fireworks each latest an hour without any breaks.

Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, and Alberta on a 3-month trip with our first RV. Although I had worked in Alaska many times in the previous 30 years and my wife and I had flown there on vacation a dozen years earlier, we were able go and stay in places we never could have if dependent on motels, B&Bs, etc. Places like the twin fjord towns of Stewart and Hyder that are on no SE Alaska cruise itinerary and have a border checkpoint between the two towns. You can even drive N of Hyder to an overlook of the Y-shaped Salmon Glacier and stop at a bear-viewing platform next to the river on the way back down the valley. Experiences like that are not found in the Lower 48!

That very first trip. The good, the bad, and the scary.

Two weeks at Morefield campground at Mesa Verde. After I saw everything once at Mesa Verde, I left the Aliner at the campground and drove to all the neighboring ruins.

We have worked in Alaska for the last 3 years. This year will be the 4th and last year. We work in retail stores in Skagway and are often asked for the “favorite trip”. I honestly have to say it is either the last trip or the next trip. Every trip offers new and exciting adventure and beauty. We live on an amazing continent that has a lot of spectacular spots. We’ll keep traveling until we find the perfect place.

The last 16 years have been one continuous favorite trip in our full-time travels. It would be hard to pick one or even a few that stand out. Every day has been memorable.

In 2017 I planned a trip from S FL to Newfoundland DH was semi retired but agreed to take a month off from work With the exception of taking a week & 1/2 off becuse DH discovered his passport was missing that was my best RV trip of all We had to cancel several things we had planned: sight seeing the Old Sow whirlpool between Maine and Canada, rafting the tidal bore in Fundy bay, a trip to Hopewell Rocks a trip to see the tidal bore at Moncton

A number of favorites BUT one I will never forget was a week long trip in our 1963 VW Westfalia camping bus, on US 1, camping every night, from Key West FL to Fort Kent Maine and turned around on the Canadian side to come back home. Young, dumb, and fun. (Can’t cross into Canada without a passport and just turn around and come back anymore.)

Newly retired and our granddaughter asked us to take her to Montana for her graduation present. With our two oldest granddaughters, we traveled from Kentucky to Montana and visited seven national parks. Seeing this vacation through their eyes was amazing. The simplest discoveries, they were in awe. A lot of memories with them. Our trip was one month long.
