4 healthy recipes that you’d never know are healthy

Crazy Good Cauliflower Pizza

by Marion Dyess from Deerfield Beach, FL

We think pizza should be a food group and love that we can have a healthier version with this cauliflower crust recipe. The spices and cheese add so much flavor you wouldn’t guess that the crust is cauliflower. It gets very crisp. Topped with the peppers, onions, and cheese… yum! Click here for the recipe.

Keto-Friendly Chicken Parm

by Brandy Bender from Darrington, WA

Converting a traditional recipe to a Keto-friendly recipe takes a few adjustments and this recipe is a great example of how to do it. Crushed pork rinds are an alternative to bread crumbs for coating chicken. Brandy opted to bake the chicken breasts until they were crisp and golden brown, instead of frying, so this is a very easy chicken parmigiana recipe. There is not a lot of seasoning on the chicken but the cheese and sauce add flavor. Keeping carbs in mind, we opted for a lower sugar spaghetti sauce and served everything over zoodles (zucchini noodles). Another Keto-friendly option is sliced and steamed zucchini or cauliflower rice. Here’s the recipe.

Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

by Bruce Lambert from Southwick, MA

This is a hearty recipe full of chopped cabbage and a meaty sauce. Infused with such flavor, no one will ever realize this dish is lower in carbs. It’s very comforting and filling. A healthy dinner recipe. Here’s the recipe.

Low-Carb Loaded Baked Cauliflower

by Rhonda White from Port Orange, FL

Need a low-carb side dish? Well, this is a fantastic cauliflower one. It’s super hearty and creamy. The cheese sauce and bacon bits really do make this taste like a baked potato casserole. Crushed pork rinds on top cook until golden and adds nice texture. When hot out of the oven the cheese sauce is a little thin but thickens as it cools. This is a great low-carb side dish for any occasion. Click here for the recipe.
