Spooky Eyeball Cookies
by Teresa Jacobson from New Orleans, LA
Now, these spooky eyeball cookies are fun and guaranteed to put everyone in the Halloween spirit! They’re not only tasty, but they’re also fun to eat. The cookie is soft and reminds us of shortbread. The dab of icing adds a touch of sweetness.
Kids would have fun helping decorate these cookies. Perfect for a Halloween party or Halloween treat bags. Here’s the recipe.
Halloween Crunch
by Elizabeth Lancaster from Lincoln, NE
Want a fun snack mix for Halloween? Well, this is festive and has a nice mix of flavors and textures. The salty popcorn and peanuts are a tasty contrast to the sweet candy corn and chocolate candies. We loved the candy corn. They’re slightly chewy compared to the crunchiness of the mix.
Fun for a movie night or on Halloween. Get the recipe here.
Jack-O’-Lantern Stuffed Peppers Recipe
by Chef Charles Smith from Taftville, CT
What a cute meal to have for your little goblins before they go out trick or treating. It’s a delicious stuffed pepper recipe that’s turned into an adorable Jack- O’-Lantern. The filling is full of meat and rice with just enough sauce.
This is a meal your entire family will love. Click here for the recipe.
Jack-O’-Lantern Cheese Ball
by Renee King from Battle Mountain, NV
This is a simple and cute Halloween cheese ball. We have had similar cheese balls but they’re coated with crushed cheese tortilla chips. Coating with finely shredded cheese is a much tastier method. It prevents the cheese ball from getting soggy.
The only problem with this recipe is it’s so cute we didn’t want to eat it! Get the recipe here.
Halloween Candy Cookies
by Donna Copeland from Powell, TN
If you’re looking to get rid of extra Halloween candy, try these fantastic cookies. Once baked, they’re thin and slightly crisp around the edges with a wonderfully gooey middle. In the Test Kitchen, we chopped Butterfingers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and M&Ms.
The result was a great cookie! You can use any type of Halloween candy that melts in this cookie. Here’s the recipe.
