Brazen daylight burglars hit Camping World

As time goes by, it seems crooks are getting more and more brazen. Jewelry store heists. Mob thieves at Gucci. But when daylight burglars hit Camping World, one has to wonder, just where are their minds?

We can imagine there are plenty of “fences” ready to take stolen rings. No doubt Gucci merchandise has a high value. But what self-respecting “fence” wants Camping World gear?

Bakersfield, California: Burglars hit Camping World

Police in Bakersfield, California, may want to know answers to that question. Earlier this week, police in that hot California city put out a request to try and identify two suspects in what’s alleged to be a brazen daylight rip-off that happened back on April 15.

The two men walked into the Camping World at 5500 Wible Road. Before they left, police say they helped themselves to $1,500 worth of gear without bothering to stop at the cash register.

Here’s how they’re described

The first suspect is “a man with a thin build who was wearing a black hoodie and face covering. He was last seen wearing black pants and white shoes,” says the report.

The other suspect in the case is a man in his 40s with short black hair, black mustache, and a heavy-stock build. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, red shirt, black pants, and red and white shoes.

What did they make off with?

What kind of Camping World merchandise did these two characters make off with? The security camera photos are so fuzzy that it’s hard to be certain. It looks as though Mister “brown leather jacket” made off with a bike or scooter of some sort.

And as to Mister “black hoodie,” who coyly put on a mask? Our best guess (and we could be WAY off), just judging from the size of the box, how about a new RV toilet? If you’ve had to buy one lately, you know the price is out of this world. Or should we say, out of this Camping World?

In any event, if you know something about the burglars that hit Camping World, give the Bakersfield Police a call at 661-327-7111 or Detective K. Guinn at 661-326-3953.

We need Don Corleone and Luca Bratzi. A friend of mine from Brooklyn, NY tells stories of what happened if you got caught stealing in the neighborhood. Didn’t happen a second time.

Poor parental guidance as youngsters. Their fathers were probably not in the picture as they were growing up. Maybe thieving runs in the family too?

Worst security cameras ever.

Maybe the CW techs tried to fix the cameras themselves. They will have to try again and again.
Sound familiar??

Thank you, Russ and Tina! 🙂 Maybe they bought RVs (an RV?) at Camping World and, after a year of run-around and their warranties (warranty?) expiring, they are trying to get Mr. Lemonis’ attention so he can help them. 🤔 No? 😯 Well, it was just a thought. 😉 But I do have some bemusement when I contemplate one of the bigger problem-children in the world of RV sales and non-service getting ripped-off. No honor among thieves, huh? Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂

When you have a society that has made it more of a crime to try and stop thieves, (security guards getting sued or charged), who’s going to risk their freedom to intercede?

Shameful video clarity for this day and age…
