Chaos at RV park: Mounties hunt for ‘wild’ naked intruder!

And the streaker goes on. Despite chilly weather in Kananaskis Village, Alberta, a campground has issued another safety notice. Be on the lookout (or not!) for a man seen over several month frolicking in the buff. Reports of the naked intruder’s behavior range from amusing to disconcerting.

Naked intruder struts stuff from July onward

The Mount Kidd RV Park has posted an alert, warning guests, “There have been recent sightings of an unclothed individual near the campground.” It’s not something new—the naked intruder has been strutting his stuff since at least July.

naked intruderIn early August, local media source DiscoverAirdrie reported Canadian Mounties had received multiple reports of a naked man in Kananaskis Country. The first report came July 16 and another on July 23.

The Mounties say the man is described as thin, pale, and bearded. He seems to frequent Mount Kidd RV Park. Witnesses reported that when spotted, he quickly retreats into the surrounding trees. Social media posts indicate that while he vanishes when spotted by adults, he appears to hang around longer when children are the witnesses.

Mounties find camp—but not a stitch of evidence

Mounties think the bearded streaker could be living in makeshift camps in the backcountry. So far officers have found three such sites during their investigations, but have come away without a stitch of other evidence.

It would seem the naked intruder may be a bit on the acrobatic side. One guest posted this about his experience on social media three months back: “I said to my wife, ‘There is a naked guy frolicking over there by the river.’

“Like… he was doing some really, really spirited jumping around in his bare feet. But then he saw me see him and he ran into the bushes. Then he kept peeking over the bushes like a little kid, in a ‘I bet they don’t see me’ kind of way.

“I kind of thought that I might be the crazy one (not the man doing naked jumping jacks), but then I heard word that he has been hanging out there for weeks. The RCMP was there this morning on foot and ATV, but I didn’t see any signs of success on their part. I get that it’s probably not in the public’s interest to have a naked man lurking around a child-filled campground, but man, he sure seemed to be living his best life down there.”
