Some Cruiser travel trailers are recalled for missing tire data. Cruiser RV (Cruiser) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Avenir trailers. The Federal Certification labels are missing the tire size and correct PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, “Wheels and Rims–Other Than Passenger Cars.” Incorrect tire size information could result in the wrong tires being installed. Incorrect PSI information could lead to over- or under-inflating the tires. Both instances increase the risk of a crash. Potentially 136 trailers are affected.
Remedy
Cruiser will mail new certification labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 15, 2024. Owners may contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-562-3500.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Thank you, Russ and Tina! 🙂 I found it odd that the mailing to owners was at no charge to them. I guess the owners should be glad the new labels will not arrive “postage due.” 🤔😯🙁 Well, a new player in the “Recall” Game. 🤔😯 Too bad. Reminds me of the WOPR conclusion near the end of “War Games, “The only winning move is not to play.”
