LEBANON, Ore. — A 30-foot fifth wheel trailer burned in a fire early Wednesday morning, the Lebanon Fire District reports. The LFD is also urging residents to use proper heating and not use “alternative heating” meant for the outdoors. Not saying whether a space heater was the cause of the fire, the statement implies that.
Firefighters were called to the 400 block of Tangent Street on June 5 for a structure fire.
Lebanon Firefighters responded with 15 personnel on two engines, 2 fire medics, one rehab unit for firefighters, and 3 chief officers. Firefighters were assisted at the scene by the Lebanon Police Department and PP&L.
Upon arrival, crews found a 30-foot-long recreational vehicle fully consumed by flames, with multiple trees nearby also at risk of catching fire. A defensive approach was launched, and the crews quickly went to work extinguishing the blaze.
But as you can see from the photo, this RV has seen its last campground.
