Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021 XLR toy hauler travel trailers. The mounting brackets may be improperly located or secured, which might allow the fresh water tank to detach when full.
A detached water tank can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash and possible injury. As many as 1,868 toy haulers may be affected by this recall, which was issued October 24, 2025.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and add securements to the tank as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 3, 2025.

I have a hard time understanding how a company can produce thousands of RV’s and all of a sudden make one with a major problem.
This seems to be the norm with FR products.
You’re right. It’s astounding the amount of recalls they all have. Just imagine the issues that are not covered by a recall. The entire industry is in desperate need of some kind of oversight or inspection agency to lessen the amount of units that leave the factory with defects.
