Missing RVer – Have you seen Megan Stedman?

Police in Bozeman, Montana, are asking for your help in locating a missing RVer. Megan Ashley Stedman, who is 34 years old, has been missing since December 15, 2023. She was last seen in the Bozeman/Livingston area. She is described as African-American/Native American, 5’7” and 195 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes, no known tattoos.

Megan is known to be associated with a 1973 tan motorhome bearing Washington license plate 187 WJY. The motorhome has obvious damage to the rear driver’s side.

In addition to information provided by the Bozeman Police Department, the non-profit organization Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA has provided more details on this missing RVer. Megan hasn’t used her phone since December 15, but has never before “gone off the grid.” She has children that she has not been in touch with.

Bozeman Police Department Detectives believe Megan is missing under suspicious circumstances and are concerned for Megan’s safety. If you have information about this missing RVer, contact Detective Sergeant King at 406-582-2242 or call the Bozeman Police Department at 406-582-2000.

Dang, another sad missing persons report with ties to rvs or camping areas. We’ll keep our eyes open for the beat up RV.

What, exactly, does “…known to be associated with a 1973 tan RV…” mean? I assume it means she doesn’t own it but is known to associate with person “x” that does own the RV and has spent time in it?
