What you think of us matters! And today we’re curious: If you had to choose just one word to describe us, RVtravel.com, what would it be? Would you say we’re informational? Educational? Entertaining?
We know we’re hilarious and loveable too, of course, but those don’t need to be options—they’re just a given.
If you choose “None of the above” or “Other,” please leave a comment and tell us what word or words you’d use instead. We’re curious!
Even if you don’t choose either of those answers, we’d love for you to leave a comment and tell us what other words come to mind when you think of us, or how you’d describe us to others. Thank you!

You need to add an ‘All the above’ tab. I find it informational, educational, and entertaining!
Agree. Have been RVing for over 60 years!
Unfortunately 5 years ago the old rvtravel was far more interesting and informative. It was also impossible to navigate, unfortunately! The new format is geared to those who are “know nothings”. I don’t use that term in a derogatory fashion, it’s just a fact. Most articles are thinly disguised advertisements. The questions people ask are questions that anyone that owns an RV should know the answers to in advance. All the old writers that actually wrote valuable, interesting information seem to be long gone. I’m tired of seeing silly pet photos, corny jokes, foolish cartoons, I want real information on where to visit and camp. The weekday issues are nothing more than “filler”, the Sunday edition is the only one worth reading anymore.
‘I’m sorry to be so negative and, perhaps, this is the new market but there is a strong need to provide experience campers with quality information, not fluf!
+1
Jeez. What can you say. He knows it all. Just wondering why he’s here.
It appears to me you already know all. I have been RVing for years and still have questions that may seem trivial to some but not for me. The pet thing is great with the “Leave here with a laugh”.
While I can agree with a few of your comments to some degree, I disagree with most. You can please some of the readers all of the time and you can please all of the readers some of the time, but you cannot please all of the readers all of the time. I personally only find one of the writers oftentimes “full of fluff.” But truthfully, RVers run the full gamut of experience, and there are many newbies that find the basic articles useful, even though I may find them useless. I skip them if I start reading them and find them to be uninteresting or of no use to me. Everyone has that option, and if totally unhappy, the option to unsubscribe. I am grateful to Chuck and now daughter Emily and other RV Travel staff for the hard work they do to produce this publication. I find I could apply all of the first three choices in the poll to some articles, others not so much. What I cannot do is criticize simply because not every article “moves me.” Quite frankly, I do not find that RV Travel is much different than it was 5 years ago.
There are hundreds of boring “where to visit and camp” blogs out there. I visit and camp where I want, not where other people tell me to. You may be in the right library, wrong aisle.
I didn’t vote for one of the preselected answers. I giving my own “AWESOME”!!! How’s that?
I’m with Skip on this one!
Entertaining comes to mind.
Similar to PGR comments. Content seems to be “declining” in quality.
Awesome!
All of the above. Every morning this is the first thing I read when I fire up the old confuzer. Thanks crew for the great service.
Fearless – how journalism should be.
Started with your OutWest newsletter and have enjoyed all your informative news.
Other: all of the above, informationable, educational and (highly) entertaining
All of the above. Also, Chuck was a light in the darkness of the pandemic.
Pleasure! Since this site has lots of information, thought provoking articles, humor and more, it is a pleasure to read!
“None of the above” is four words, lol.
I would say “interesting”
Worthwhile
All of the above!
All of the above!
All of the above
All of the above, definitely. Keep up the great work!
All of the above
Trusted
Entertaining and informative. I read most of this because it’s a good combination of both. Most other websites contain mostly reviews of RVs that I’m not going to buy. The “Ask Dave” article is great. Love the pet of the day and leave with a laugh.
all of the above
ALL OF THE ABOVE! 🇺🇸
I’d say entertainment 1st, and informative. I checked entertainment.
All of the above & others that are already mentioned in the comments! Thank you!
ALL OF THE ABOVE EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. Best RV information with entertainment on the side.
In one word, Valuable!
All of the above and honest, too.
Great
Interesting
I would use “my” 1 word:
FunInfo4RVtravel_s
Good one! Thanks, Sheri Ken! Have a great day. 😀 –Diane
All of the above
All the above.
AWESOME
Eclectic.
I find your efforts, all three, informational, educational andentertaining. You guys (gals?) do a great job
Needed an all of the above choice.
I chose entertaining, because I know everything there is to know about RV’s and camping..heh heh…
My one word: fantasticinallrespects.
Ha! Thanks, Kelly! Have a great day. 😀 –Diane
You asked for our opinions, so here is mine. Over the years your posts have become longer and longer. IMHO, More/Bigger is not better. You are always asking for more money and are hiring more writers. A shorter post wouldn’t require either of these. Just like slow travel is the best travel, Bigger is not better. Just like in writing business letters, make it short and get to the point as we all have other things to do.
I also know: “Love it or leave it”, but I’m just giving you my opinion. I still love it and I’m not leaving.
It occurs to me this newsletter covers all aspects as noted in the poll. Dave’s column is educational and informative. Nanci’s is entertaining as are other writers and tho’t provoking at times, Perhaps the most insightful awesome, unbelievable comments come from reading all the commenters comments! Anyway, it is a fun read also. Having published a few small monthly newsletters and technical pubs – I can’t believe how you are able to put this out 7 days a week! A great deal of editing and assembling and printing is involved. (Ya’ have to do it once to know!) Thanks!
Enjoy reading your issues have learned a few things and educated myself on some thank you Frank Zabotsky
I enjoy each issue, my word to describe
it would be “addicting”. I scan through it everyday.
Totally agree, Dave.
It’s GRRRREEAATTT!
I believe one can always learn something new in a well written article and that is what I find with RVTravel. Well written articles and a willingness to go the extra mile by always creating new ones.
Keep up the excellence in journalism. Thank you.
Comprehensive!
I have a Jayco Precept on the F53 chassis. It drove horrible and had it aligned at a heavy truck service center and made a unbelievable difference. I do notice a bumping like your on a bumpy road at times, can’t figure that out, smooth riding then bumpy, shocks????
Great like every thing
Cognitive
Yep: Head’s Up!!
I put down informational.
Expanding on that, clear & unbiased information.
There should be an “all of the above” choice! That is why I chose “other”!
All the above
‘ Anticipated’, eagerly anticipated every morning!
Exhilarating!
