Will you celebrate New Year’s Eve tonight?

Happy New Year’s Eve! Can you believe it’s already 2024? We sure can’t.

Will you do anything tonight to celebrate the new year? Attend or host a gathering? Stay at home with your household/RV members and celebrate? Will you stay up until midnight, or will you go to bed before then?

Whatever you’re doing, we’d love to hear about it in the comments. If you don’t feel like sharing, that’s okay, but please vote in the poll below. Thanks! Have a safe night and please don’t drink and drive.

Checked ‘will be celebrating’, i.e. special food/drink treats but doubt I’ll still be awake at midnight.

I will start checking the back of my eye lids for light leaks about 22:00. See you next year.

Yup let the fireworks begin. I will see the fireworks around the area. Us with pets please make sure they are inside or on a leash. I keep mine inside that 7 to after midnight and turn the TV up to somewhat off set the booms and bangs it’s worked for years an I have hounds that it doesn’t seem to bother like other dogs. Be safe bringing in the new year.

We go out for New Years Eve dinner around 4:30pm. Then enjoy the evening at home channel surfing the various shows covering the New Years Eve events. Once the ball drops, we hit the bed for the night. In our early married years we did the New Years Events, staying out T early a.m.,, but now we don’t enjoy the crowds.

We’ll get the customary pizza (long and boring story) in late afternoon/early evening. Then, if we can stay awake until 9 pm we’ll look for something from Times Square. Otherwise, we just wake up next year.

Thank you for your well-wishes, RV Travel! 🙂 I hope that all y’all have a wonderfully blessed 2024. 🙂 We’re retired, so tomorrow is another Monday (unlike last Monday, which was Christmas hereabouts in east Tennessee). We’d cut, pile, and burn brush tomorrow except that I’m sick. 🙁 So, instead, we’ll sit around and get little if anything done (DW can’t/won’t run the chainsaw). 😉 Of course, we can’t stay up late, sleep late, and get much done, so we don’t go to bed unusually late for things.

We’ll go to bed about 9 PM as usual and I’m sure we’ll be awakened at 12 to the sound of a neighbor setting off fireworks like he did on July 4th.

I usually stay up until midnight anyway when we are not on the road.

Yup – we’ll stay up with our family, drinking champagne or mimosas and watching Galaxy Quest! A very funny, inspiring movie that the whole family (all Star Trek fans) can enjoy! Happy New Year!

We won’t be doing anything special, but, since our neighborhood will sound like a war zone (started last night), we will undoubtedly at least be awake at midnight! 😉

I honestly can’t see anything to celebrate! I don’t see 2024 being any better and, in all likelihood, it will only get worse.

We will be staying home with hearing aids out and ear plugs in.

We are in a forced celebration. Fireworks started before the sun went down and will probably go on until 2 or 3 AM,
