We know it’s hard to pick just one favorite Thanksgiving dish, which is why you can choose up to two in today’s poll.
What’s your favorite? Are you partial to the turkey or ham? The potatoes? The green beans? Or do you scarf everything down with hopes that means you’ll get to the dessert course faster?
Maybe your must-have dish isn’t even on the traditional list. Some of you swear by oyster stuffing, jambalaya, tamales, or that one special casserole your family has made for generations. And yes, we know a few of you are muttering “pumpkin pie, obviously” under your breath.
And let’s be honest, sometimes the best dish is the one that reminds you of home. Maybe it’s your grandma’s gravy recipe, your sister’s mashed potatoes, or the cranberry sauce you pretend not to like but absolutely pile onto your plate. It wouldn’t be the same if someone else made it different, right?
We like the turkey and stuffing the best. No, no, the turkey and mac n cheese. No… the mac n cheese and the sweet potatoes! No… the… Ugh! We like them all!
If you select “other,” please tell us what your favorite dish or dishes are in the comments. Come on, make us drool!

Stuffing with gravy, but I’ll start with dessert first please.
I agree!
Tough choice between potatoes or stuffing. Only time of year I get potatoes, but I dearly love oyster stuffing!
This was a tough poll! I want it all plus a nap (burp!).
Turkey (white meat with gravy) and home made cranberry relish.
All are wonderful, but gravy on top is what makes them delicious.
The turkey and stuffing, “with gravy on top”, but then it needs to be followed with pumpkin pie.
Turkey thighs…
“OTHER” Creamed Butternut Squash with lots of butter and lightly salted.
My Grandma’s noodles made with Ream’s noodles.
Every time I think of Thanksgiving memories of my childhood Thanksgiving with extended family comes back to me. We all gathered at grandpa and grandma’s house and ate Thanksgiving dinner there. All the food was good, but I remember suet pudding the most that grandma made. Was the best. After the grandparents died my mother took up the tradition with our family and her large fluffy dinner rolls became the memory. Melt in your mouth good. Miss those times.now it is my wife who host our family and her food is really good with the turkey and dressing and Dixie salad being particularly memorable.
My sister in law makes the very best home made noodles, put them on top of my wife’s excellent mashed potatoes & I’m a happy man.
My sister in law makes whipped sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows and really good stuffing. Stuff one cheek with stuffing and the other with sweet potato, repeat as necessary.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with family and friends.
OTHER: Ambrosia Salad, made with mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, marachino cherries, grapes, mini marshmallows, coconut, and lots of whipped cream. We love this stuff so much I make it several times during the year.
The best part of Thanksgiving dinner is the leftover turkey made into a cold sandwich. Lots of mayo please.
