More than four billion prescriptions are dispensed in the United States each year. It has the highest consumption of prescription drugs in the world. More than 131 million Americans take at least one prescription medication—that’s about 66 percent of the population.
How many prescription drugs do you take on a regular basis? One? Two? Four? 10? More than that?
As always, thanks for voting. And remember, these surveys are just for curiosity. We don’t know how you answer. If you take a bunch of prescription drugs, we’re sorry you have to deal with so many medical issues and we wish you well.

My 5 scripts per day includes 3 different eyedrops
voted one, but that’s me. My spouse has a pharmaceutical basket.
15 due to heart transplant.
Just the one and it’s preventative only. Had high cholesterol years ago, the Dr put me on vastatin and been taking it as a preventative ever since, over 30 years. My cholesterol, both good and bad, have been perfect ever since.
I’m not on any, but my husband has high blood pressure, cholesterol and recently found out he has type 2 diabetes so he’s on six at this point. We aren’t currently traveling as he’s trying to get a hip replacement but I’m wondering how people with multiple prescriptions manage to travel and get refills, especially if you’re out of the country. We had planned on going to Canada this summer but had to put that trip off.
Ask your pharmacist or doctor to provide you with enough pills to get you through vacation time Shannon.
Just two for blood pressure control.
I used to complain about the 21 pills and four injections a day, Agent Orange related. But then I realized that these medications were not available years ago , and I was fortunate to have access to these life saving products!
Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 Six months ago, none. Now, one. 🙁 Oh well. Not quite decrepit, but on the road there. 😉 Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂
None. Turn 70 this year and am blessed with excellent health. Maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle have served me well.🙂🙏
So you picked the right team huh 😜
Why would anyone answer this? This is against the FEMA laws. i stopped doing Palates because to many women were talking about other peoples medical issues. It’s nobody’s biz. I wonder if the publisher and staff answered this questionnaire? WOW
HIPPA not fema and you are not looking at the patient chart for specifics
Thank you, Scott. Not only that, but we have no way of seeing who is participating in our polls. BTW, yes, at least a couple of us at RVtravel.com did participate in this poll. (I did, but I have no way of knowing who else did. I could just see that someone had voted before I proofed it.) Have a great day, Scott. 😀 –Diane
Then why did you? Incorrectly if I might add. Again, thanks Diane for not kow-towing to this kind of “snowflake” crap.
👍 Have a good afternoon/evening, David. 😀 –Diane
🤔 ok and why do you really feel that way? asking for me.
I take a lot, and it’s a pain in the shorts. Thank God for my phone alarm, or I’d be in trouble. Some of my ‘scripts HAVE to be taken on time. But I’m not crying- except for here. It could be a lot worse if I didn’t.
I’m tired of taking all these pressure 💊😞 doc I don’t want no mo pills 🤔
