While big motorhome users have basked in the luxury of warm feet for some time, now Class B motorhomers have the same chance. A new RV floor heating system has hit the market from Aqua-Hot, an Airxcel brand. The outfit says its Glenwood Flooring System is suitable for campervans and compatible with any of the 100 series hydronic heating systems by Aqua-Hot.
“We’ve designed the Glenwood Flooring System to give Class B customers the convenience of hot water, air heat, and now heated floors all supplied by a single, space-saving appliance,” says an Aqua-Hot press release. “Like all our heating solutions, our goal with the Glenwood Flooring System is to elevate the RV experience with an innovative product that is built for the road and designed for user comfort.”
RV floor heating system includes whistles and bells
The RV floor heating system comes with whistles and bells. The Glenwood system works with Aqua-Hot’s integrated color touchscreen. It’s used to control both the flooring system and the paired 125G, 125D, or 125M unit. The system includes a thermistor to ensure the floor is never too hot or too cold. The Glenwood Flooring System is cut to seamlessly fit select manufacturer’s specifications. It makes for quick and easy installs. The system includes a multi-piece solution for durability paired with heat transfer plates for even distribution of heat. Whether the Glenwood system is suitable as an after-market product isn’t immediately clear.
Glenwood Flooring System is designed to precisely fit:
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models 144, 170, and 170-EXT
- Ford Transit models 148 and 148-EXT
- Ram ProMaster® models 136, 159, and 159-EXT

Thank you, Russ and Tina! I guess Oasis will create a similar system if Newmar gets into producing Class Bs. Meanwhile, Aqua-Hot enjoys its advantage. 🙂
I guess I missed it, what it runs off of? LP? Engine coolant? In either case in a class B the LP tank is not that big, and idling the engine is not good, sounds like another idea without asking the “What if questions”.
