The front overhead cabinet fasteners can break, allowing the overhead cabinet to detach. If that should happen while the vehicle is in motion it can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash which can cause injury or worse.
As many as 4,665 vehicles may be affected by this safety recall, which was issued August 13, 2024.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and install new hardware and fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2024. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV’s number for this recall is 240809REV.
Notes

Geez, even more recalls 😵💫
Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 Well, I guess it was inevitable that REV would join the recall party. The falling cabinet certainly could be quite a distraction to the driver. 🙁 Thanks again, have a great week, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
