Today’s thought

Need an excuse to celebrate? Today is National Maple Syrup Day!

On this day in history: 1903 – The Wright brothers make the first controlled, powered, heavier-than-air aircraft flight in the Wright Flyer at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

How couples can avoid arguments living in a tight space

Living full-time or a “lot of the time” in an RV is a dream for many couples. But it also brings a reality that few brochures mention: two people sharing a few hundred square feet, often together 24/7. Even strong relationships can feel strained when there’s no spare bedroom, no quick escape, and no real privacy. The good news is that most RV-related arguments are predictable—and avoidable.

The first step is recognizing that RV living isn’t just a smaller version of life in a house. It’s a fundamentally different way of living. Everyday annoyances feel bigger when there’s no space to cool off. A dirty sink, a noisy TV, or a comment made at the wrong time can quickly escalate. Simply acknowledging that stress will happen helps couples stop taking minor irritations personally. Continue reading.

Beauer X3 expanding RVRV review
The unusual 2026 Beauer 3X European expanding travel trailer

The Beauer 3X might be the wildest RV anyone has ever seen. At Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany, it stopped people in their tracks, including Myles of Myles RVs, who called it the “craziest thing I’ve seen in Europe so far.” This tiny cylinder on wheels tows like a compact trailer, then expands into a full-width, livable space that feels nothing like its road size. Check this out!

I watched that video and she sounds distressed that her husband wouldn’t help her. I have seen what is all involved with removing the bunk beds and with the backdoor all that needs to be done is put a board over it and keep it that way. Otherwise I plan to put a pantry there and remove the table and seats and put in a love seat with a pull out bed to sit on and watch television. More to come on that adventure.
