Fooling around on the road: A guide to RV lovemaking
By Tony Barthel
(Rated PG 😉 )
More and more of us are spending more time in our RVs. As such, we’re doing everything in our RVs from cooking to laundry to making magic of the night. You know… fooling around! But like so many other aspects of RV life, sex in an RV is something that might be approached differently. This is especially true if you have little ones who travel with you.
What are the challenges of amorous activities in a mobile vacation machine? Well, there are many. Continue reading.

The 2027 inTech Sol Dusk— A unique, nicely done, compact trailer
The 2027 inTech Sol Dusk puts a surprising amount of living space into a trailer only 20’8″ long, including the tongue. With every option, it weighs about 4,000 pounds, while less-equipped versions can fall closer to 3,600 pounds. Its warm, new finishes and new flexible bed layout, not to mention the available outdoor kitchen, make it a strong fit for campers who want easy towing without giving up daily comfort. Check it out.
Fun! The Motor Mixer stirs your beverages
This is funny! We love it! This little motorized stirrer is fun in a mug. Shaped like a vintage outboard motor, it winds up by hand (no batteries!) and gently mixes coffee, tea, or hot chocolate while giving you a grin. Check it out.

Stay safe with this towable RV checklist before moving
A trailer can sit through storage without one obvious problem, then fail on the first travel day. Flat batteries, old tires, weak brakes, and expired alarms often stay hidden until the RV is already moving. For towable RV owners, a full RV readiness checklist helps catch small issues before they turn into repairs. Here’s a good list to follow.

The 12 gadgets and accessories that I can’t do without in the RV
By Nanci Dixon
There are a number of gadgets from the RV that we can use in the house, too. Being full-time RVers for the last eight years, I never had to remember what to pack. We carried everything with us. This is the first time in that many years that I need to actually pack up the motorhome. The standard items, dishes, pots and pans, towels, blankets, and camping equipment, are still in the RV, just counting the days till we roll again. I just can’t forget to pack these 12 gadgets!

Does a surge protector have a “shelf life”?
FACTOID: An average professional football game lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes, but if you tally up the time when the ball is actually in play, the action amounts to a mere 11 minutes.

Quick tip
Take a quick walk around after leveling up
Once you’re leveled up at your campsite, take a slow walk around your RV before settling in. Look for anything unusual—a compartment door that popped open, loose trim, a leaking fluid or a tire that looks low. Check that there’s room before extending slides so you don’t bang into anything. And look up, too. Are birds roosting in the tree above the site at night? (If so, prepare for a poopy roof in the morning.)

You most likely have these… all RVers and campers do. But have you looked at yours lately? Are they rusty? Are they crusty? Well, maybe replacing them isn’t such a bad idea…
Trivia
The ’60s English band Herman’s Hermits got its name in a roundabout way from the American cartoon series Rocky and Bullwinkle. It was suggested that the band’s lead singer, Peter Noone, bore a resemblance to the nerdy Sherman character on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. Sherman was shortened to Herman and the group became Herman and His Hermits, which was soon shortened to Herman’s Hermits.

“A rescue many years ago, Bugsy (Boxer mix, age 15) loves to romp Oregon’s mountains and beaches. Like a lot of seniors, she is enjoying the RV road life, taking in the great American West’s lands and monuments.” —Calista Stanturf
