At the recent Prevost Expo in West Palm Beach, Florida, more than 50 preowned Prevost motorhomes were on display with the exhibits staffed by the various vendors, converters and Prevost factory personnel. Tucked between the massive displays were booths that featured a variety of motorhome related products and services.
…I asked each resort representative to provide a one minute pitch on camera telling us why we should visit their resort.
Included among the assortment of exhibits were 14 luxury motorcoach resorts. Each booth was staffed by a representative of the resort who was happy to field questions and make reservations.
I thought I would try something different and instead of appearing on camera and asking questions, I gave each resort representative one minute on camera to inform us of the various amenities and tell us why we should visit their resort. Below is a compilation video of the 14 “pitches” and, as it turned out, it’s a great way to see a sampling of upscale motorcoach resorts located across the USA.
Below the video, I’ve included links to each resort. Please note that, as always, no payment or consideration was provided for the production of this video or the inclusion in my motorhome coverage.

A Visit To Grand Lake RV & Golf Resort Proves To Be A Problematic Experience
I have been to those places and while there I was using a rented car. In general, the rule of thumb is that the coverage you have for your main vehicle extends to your rental vehicle because the rental is considered a replacement vehicle under the policy. I did not have any problems with 14CARS.com https://14cars.com/car-rental/usa-washington-dc-reagan-airport-dca-va-enterprise, however. So if you have comprehensive coverage on your own car, your policy would also give you comprehensive coverage for the rental vehicle. No complaints at all, it was lucky that I found them as my car was getting fixed
These “resorts” are actually selling “tiny homes” (or so it seems), not just a place to go to. I was waiting for someone to say, “Once you get here and have your structure built, you never have to open your RV’s door AGAIN”.
That’s not totally correct as in the resorts I’ve visited, local ordinances state that a motorhome must be on the property to use the “casita” or additional structure. The resort developers aren’t just selling tiny houses…it can be considered a resort lifestyle amenity. I’ll add that in some counties, local codes restrict casita usage and some don’t allow for bedroom usage.
