Are you ready to smoke your competition at cornhole? In the video below, GunnerBriz shares five tips that will seriously improve your cornhole game.
For many RVers, cornhole is a favorite campsite pastime. How surprised are your friends going to be if suddenly you arrive with a vastly improved game?
Here are Gunner’s tips for how to improve your cornhole game:
#1 Cornhole stance: When it comes to cornhole stances you have three choices:
- Right foot forward
- Left foot forward
- Or stepping into the throw
Watch the video as Gunner breaks down each stance, including the advantages and disadvantages of each, so that you can choose the one that is best for you.
#2 Grip and throwing: If you aren’t a cornhole fanatic, you might not realize there are MANY different ways to grip, throw, and release a cornhole beanbag. No worries, Gunner explains an easy-to-master method that works well for him in Step 2.
#3 Playing smart: Gunner says people lose points all the time in Cornhole with poor game strategy. This won’t happen to you as he explains the smart way to play in Step 3. It comes down to knowing when and when not to take a shot.
#4 Reading your opponent: Gunner has some strategies for getting in your opponent’s head that can give your team an edge.
#5 Consistency: According to Gunner, if you really want to get good at this game, all it takes is consistency. Practice regularly and before you know it, you’ll be leaving the competition in the dust!

Yeah, who knew…the kids and I just count the ones that go in the hole. First to get ten in wins. We’re on vacation, who wants to count all those points? But now that I have seen this great video, my kids don’t stand a chance! 🙂
Thank you, Cheri! I find the attraction of cornhole fascinating. 🤔 I am baffled by the popularity, but perhaps this is merely confirmation that I am old. 😉 In any case, I will watch the video despite never playing and intending to never play. I may be able to ingratiate myself with some rich person who plays poorly by explaining how to improve. Perhaps they will be so pleased that they give me a million dollars. 😉 Thanks again, have a great week, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
Ever the optimist Neal! 🙂
I guess it is cheaper than playing the lottery, but also with much lower odds of getting a large (any?) payoff. 🤔😯😉🙂
