In the video below we join Matt and Andrea from Matt’s RV Reviews, one of our readers’ favorite RV YouTube channels, for a tour of a brand-new Class C motorhome floor plan from NeXus, the 2024 NeXus Viper 23V.
A simple RV with no slideouts, Matt says it’s the perfect B+ motorhome for someone who is taller, bigger, or wider than average. However, he kind of contradicts himself later in the video in that he also says the beds are too small (more on that below).

B+ in RV industry terms means a Class C without a bed over the cab. Nonetheless, this rig puts the space to good use with multiple storage cabinets and a central visible space to mount the TV.
I love the light, airy look of the interior done in shades of gray and off-white.
The front sofa and dinette quickly convert into sleeping space, making the front of the coach multi-functional.
The kitchen features a Greystone convection microwave, a 3-burner Dometic cooktop, and a large Everchill compressor fridge and freezer with doors that open from either side.
The rear corner bath features a surprisingly large shower and a porcelain toilet. Placing it here leaves room for a hanging wardrobe closet and more drawers.

What’s not to like?
As usual, Matt and Andrea give three things they like and dislike about the rig.
For dislikes, they list:
- There’s very little exterior storage.
- The passenger seat cannot recline much, which leads to it feeling cramped despite having plenty of legroom.
- The beds are too short—Matt says if you are over 5’4” you’ll be uncomfortable. Maybe there is a little more wiggle room than that. Nonetheless, the beds are not for tall folks.
Beyond that, I would add that as this motorhome lacks a designated bedroom, you will have to make up and put away the bed every day. That’s a deal breaker for me.
Another deal breaker would be the ridiculously small single kitchen sink. They could have sacrificed a little counter space for a larger, more functional sink, in my opinion.
Matt is correct about the placement of the toilet paper holder being off, especially if you are a big guy like him. But there is a place you could move it to.
It would have been nice if they painted the water heater cover to match the rest of the exterior.

For me, there is nothing to like in this motorhome. The designers probably slapped this floorplan together in about an hour.
I hope Dave Solberg reads this and notes that Class B+ RVs DO exist. (We enjoy a 2019 BT CRUISER B+ and they’ve been around for years before that.)
Thanks Cheri for posting this review. I’m 5’9″ and the jack-knife sofa beds just fit.
I’m with Dave on this one. To me, a Class B is a taller than standard van(Sprinter type), but the living portion is the same width as the front of the van. A Class C is on a van cutaway chassis(the living portion is wider than the front of the van). A Class A is the same width the entire length(excluding slides). So I categorize the Viper as a Class C.
No formal bedroom? None for me thanks! @@
