RVers are all about gadgets, right? We often get excited by the simplest ideas because they are so helpful! Check out these three items that I’ve recently come to love. I bet you’ll love them as much as I do!
Level up
I discovered these levelers out of necessity. When cooking breakfast on our Blackstone griddle, the freshly cracked eggs and bacon grease seemed to flow to one side or another. I needed something to level the griddle. These leveling feet work really well! You just fasten them to the griddle and adjust to the level. Bonus: They also work for uneven furniture inside or outside our RV.
Features:
- Adjustability. You can easily fine-tune the height of each foot to get your griddle perfectly level, no matter how uneven your RV site may be.
- Durable. Made from robust materials, these feet are built to last, even in heavy-duty applications.
- Easy installation. Simply screw them into the bottom of your griddle or furniture, and you’re good to go.
- Where it shines. These levelers fit our Blackstone griddle perfectly! It also works to level our camp chairs on uneven ground around the campfire.
RV caddy and organizer
RVers know how important it is to keep your basement space organized. This organizer is designed to help you make the most of your RV’s limited space. It will keep hoses, cords, leveling blocks, and virtually everything within easy reach.
Features:
- Multiple pockets. With several pockets of various sizes, you can organize your items neatly, so nothing gets lost or cluttered.
- Durable materials. Made from high-quality materials, this caddy is waterproof and puncture-resistant. An integrated cover keeps out dust and dirt.
- Perfect fit. This organizer is a perfect fit for most RV slide-out basement trays.
- Where it shines. This organizer is perfect for keeping your RV basement storage space tidy and efficient. Whether you’re on the road or parked at a campsite, this caddy helps you keep your essentials close by, making your RV feel more like home.
Alignment kit
This hitch alignment kit is designed to help you achieve perfect alignment every time. These removable, magnetic guides can help ensure everything lines up just right.
Features:
- Strong magnets. These guides stay firmly in place, allowing you to align your truck to the trailer effortlessly.
- Adjustable. With multiple alignment points, you can adjust them to your needs.
- Time-saving. By helping you get your alignment right the first time, you’ll be on the road to your next RV adventure in no time.
- Where they shine. If you’re new to hooking up your RV trailer, this magnetic alignment kit can be a lifesaver. They take the guesswork out of alignment, right along with the frustration.

Weird, the RV caddy cannot be bought on their website only through amazon and prime or not, you will have to pay a shipping fee.
The alignment guides are good for older vehicles without backup cameras. Since most now have the rear cameras, I did an easy mod. I painted the top of my coupler white. Now when backing up, I can see the coupler clearly and it is very easy to get the ball and coupler aligned.
Nice idea!
We used the tennis ball, hitch alignment, guide when we had a 5th wheel. That was over 15 years ago. Works well.
We also used the tennis balls to backup the truck to the 5th wheel pin. I could hitch up by myself with no camera or second person to guide me.
Thank you, Gail! 🙂 Great choices! My favorite is pretty simple; disposable booties to wear while fueling the RV at a truck stop. I found these several months ago following a discussion surrounding an RV Travel article. After using several times and being fully satisfied — easy “on,” easy “off,” and no leaks in use — I can recommend them. I bought these at Amazon: https://a.co/d/1L4ZGbp. Thanks again, have a great day, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
