Don’t miss the annual donkey release coming soon to Colorado

Looking for something unique to do this Memorial Day weekend? You may want to witness the donkey release in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Beginning on May 27, the Two-Mile-High Club (caretaker club for the donkeys) will release the animals from their winter pastures into the town of Cripple Creek. Donkeys will graze in the town’s high-elevation area until October.

Activities will celebrate this annual event, and this year include live music, a community-wide picnic, and even a visit from “Teddy Roosevelt”! Find out more here.

Thank you, Gail! 🙂 Interesting and unusual event. Too far away for us though. Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂
