I’m not sure what’s so captivating about this video (at the bottom of this article) except for the drama of seeing if three guys with two jeeps could pull off a rescue of a stolen motorhome on a dark, cold, snowy night in the Canadian wilderness.
The RV sat abandoned along a dirt road about 25 miles from the nearest town. It had been abandoned there for months and winter was settling in. It was time to get it out or wait until spring.
Another stolen RV, not far away, had been vandalized, so time was of the essence to get this fairly new model Class C out of harm’s way and back to town.
Bruce, Ryan, and Denny set out with two Jeeps and a plan: free the RV, get it to safety so police could fingerprint it to hopefully track down the crooks who copped it. And, then, of course, return the RV to its owners.
Snow, ice, and nightfall made recovery tricky. After warming the RV’s engine and topping off the gas tank, the team tried pulling it free—but the tires spun in place. Switching tactics, they used a kinetic pull, leveraging momentum to break the RV loose inch by inch.
Cheers erupted as the RV finally rolled free. After fueling up, the team brought it to a tow yard where police would soon go to work collecting evidence.
So, Happy Ending.

Thank you for sharing this, JR! Great video. Congratulations to those guys for saving the RV. Good luck to the police in seeking evidence to identify tbe thieves. I do hope once it finally returns to its owners that they don’t have to do or spend much to make it usable. Safe travels!
Not bad, considering it was dark!! Good job!
