Fiesta Flavor: 5 irresistible taco recipes to elevate your dinner

Amazing Date Night Chicken Tacos

by Shanelle Long from Locust Grove, GA

It may be the stewing of the chicken, we’re not sure. But something special happens that does make these tacos amazing. The tender and juicy chicken is cooked in a rich and spicy picante sauce that has a hint of cilantro. It’s served in soft and warm buttery tortillas. Fresh and crunchy, we love the combination of toppings – queso fresco, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and more cilantro. The cheese melts slightly on the hot chicken, and the sour cream cools down the heat from the sauce. A quick, easy, and fun dinner idea. Click here for the recipe.

Grilled Steak and Veggies Tacos

by Joann Gough-Stallbaumer from Lenexa, KS

Nearly every element of these steak tacos is grilled. A fantastic dinner option when you don’t want to turn on the oven. The steak is tender, hearty, and full of flavor from the marinade. It’s a wonderful complement to the caramelized red onion and tangy grilled tomatillos. Crumbled queso fresco and sliced avocado add a bit of creaminess to every bite. Be prepared to make a full taco bar. You and your family will not be able to eat just one. Here’s the recipe.

Spicy Grilled Shrimp Taco

by Chantell Byrd

Spice up your Taco Tuesdays with these grilled shrimp tacos. Individually, each component is tasty. Once assembled, they’re delicious. The seasoned grilled shrimp have a slick kick and are full of flavor. Slightly tangy, jalapeno adds a punch of flavor to the cabbage slaw. On top is a smoky chipotle and adobo crema that’s fabulous on its own. Warming the tortillas on the grill is an excellent idea. Once assembled, these are made-at-home restaurant-quality shrimp tacos your family will love. Click here for the recipe.

Grilled Fish Tacos With Chipotle Crema

by Lauren Perkins-Boyd from Portland, OR

A delicious recipe if you’ve been having a craving for fish tacos and want to make them at home. The marinade for the fish is seasoned perfectly and the fish soaks up all the flavor. Mahi mahi is in the ingredients, but any mild white flaky fish will work. We love the fresh chipotle crema. It’s tangy and has a little kick that’s the perfect complement to the fish. This is a fabulous twist to taco night. Here’s the recipe.

Pulled Pork Tacos With Pickled Red Onions and Cilantro Pesto

by Danielle Williams from Newport, RI

My goodness, the rub recipe on this pulled pork is a real knock-out! Filled with brown sugar, Adobo seasoning, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, and paprika, it gives the meat an authentic Adobo Mexican flavor. After marinating overnight, the flavors permeate the meat. The pork is pulled and placed into toasted soft corn tortillas. Top with yummy cilantro pesto and delicately pickled red onions and you have one truly incredible bite in each pulled pork taco. Click here for the recipe.
