Can you find the RV model names hidden throughout this story?

Having just visited Tampa’s huge RV show, my head is spinning from all the different brands and models. I thought it might be fun to covertly incorporate the various RV model names into a story and challenge you to find the names I’ve “hidden” in the story.

I’ll get you started. The first RV model name mentioned is Berkshire. It is one of only four RV models that I’ve capitalized. Try to find the remaining 21.

Find the hidden RV models

Jonah and Mara Berkshire wanted solitude, but not the lonely kind. Instead, they were looking for the peaceful sort when your passport is a map folded too many times, and your only plan is to get out of town. At the apex of summer, the couple packed up their RV and left before sunrise.

By midday, they crossed into Montana, where the vista swelled into expansive grassy views and the sky stretched lazily like it had nowhere better to be. The Berkshires camped near Cedar Creek, a quiet bend of water where the air smelled of Sierra pine fresh. It felt like a reflection of everything they’d hoped the trip would be.

That night, as the fire burned low, something moved beyond the trees. First, a cougar slipped through the shadows, elegant and silent. Then—just moments later—an animal’s cry sounded from the ridge. Jonah laughed nervously.

“I don’t mind seeing a cardinal or a sandpiper,” he said, staring into the dark, “but a wildcat? No thanks.”

Mara nodded. “This place is beautiful,” she said, “but it’s starting to feel a little too outback.”

The couple slept lightly and left early, following a winding trail that climbed higher and higher until they reached a lookout. Pulling over, they got out and saw a landmark peak in the distance, where the valley opened below them. Mara silently pointed to a bighorn sheep that stood perfectly still on the rocks. Far below, a grey wolf moved along the tree line, while a breath-stealing breeze rolled down from the peaks.

In a small town the next afternoon, the Berkshires stopped for supplies. A festival parade filled the streets, with patriotic freedom expressed in handmade signs. Kids chased balloons shaped like eagles, and music echoed off old storefronts. Someone had tied a flag staff to the back of a truck, and it waved merrily as it passed by.

They spent the evening near a hidden lake, a true hideout where the water lay flat as glass. The sunset painted the liquid surface pink and gold, and for a moment, everything felt balanced and right. As darkness fell, a gentle rain began to tap on the roof, steady and calm, and Mara smiled.

“Worth it?” Jonah asked.

Mara looked out at the quiet scene and replied, “Completely,” she said. “This is the kind of journey you don’t rush. You just… stay awhile.”

And somewhere between the creek, the critters, and the countless names woven into the miles behind them, they realized they’d found exactly what they were looking for—the RV life.

Very clever idea and so much fun reading. I found all of them except one.

I remember Chuck doing something similar (before RV Travel) in his previous publication… he gave us a few words (eight I think) to write a story. The readers responded with some really funny results.
