Grand Design RV is recalling certain 2026 Solitude fifth wheel trailers and Lineage motorhomes equipped with ThermaHeat Tank Pads. The water tanks’ heating pads may experience high resistance and fail, possibly due to improperly attached electrical
terminals within the heating pad.
A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire. Grand Design has issued fire risk and “do not drive” warnings with this recall, which was issued January 30.
Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 11, 2026.
Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design’s number for this recall is 910055/M910056. NHTSA recall information.
