Tragic Texas fire takes one life, injures two others

The call rang in around four in the afternoon. Multiple agencies responded to the blaze and found the rig fully aflame when they arrived. Despite their best efforts, first responders could not enter the blazing rig. It was only after the fire was out that officials could recover the body of Isabella “Izzy” Rayne. Two adults, believed to be her parents, were injured in the fire and were treated at a local hospital.

A family friend has started a GoFundMe page in an effort to help the family. As of the time of publishing, nearly $8,000 had been raised with a goal of $9,000.

The Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office is taking point in investigating the cause of the fire. Spicewood is the home of singer Willie Nelson.

Thank you, Russ and Tina! I cannot imagine what her parents are going through and likely will for the balance of their lives. 🙁 I pray they are comforted. Safe travels!
