RV review: 2026 Jayco Jay Feather 28RB: lots of storage and a big bathroom

Tour the new 2026 Jayco Jay Feather 28RB in this fast-paced video (at bottom of article) from Smith RV in Casper, Wyoming. After watching it, you may conclude, as we did, that this modest-sized rig has a lot more storage space than the average travel trailer.

The video is not intended as a critical review, but more as a quick peek at the RV and all its goodies.

With so much storage space, it would be tempting to pack the trailer with lots of your favorite things, including, as our late friend Gary Bunzer, the RV Doctor, used to say, “your bowling ball collection.” But maybe that’s not such a good idea. In other words, pack it up, if you wish, but watch the weight. It would be easy to overload.

The bathroom is exceptionally large for a trailer its size. It even has “he and she” sinks, which might be overkill for a vehicle intended more for camping adventures than a residence where Mom and Dad need to rush at the same time to get ready for work. The kitchen is adequate, although the 12-volt fridge is spacious. The oven is too small to be of much use.

The following article is a quick recap of the video at the bottom of the article, which does a far better job of showcasing the RV than we can with words. So watch the video if you have time and bandwidth..Jayco Jay Feather 28 RB bathroom

Thank you for calling attention to the video and summarizing it, Cheri! Looks pretty good, but Jayco is owned by Thor. So, I am keen to first know about Jayco’s recent record for quality control and recalls before I seriously consider a Jayco RV. Have a great weekend and safe travels!
