Love’s Travel Stops is now serving customers including RVers in Valdosta, Georgia, with the opening of its 20th location in the “Peach State.” The travel stop includes five full-hookup back-in RV sites and a dog park. No pull-through sites are provided. Love’s now offers 68 RV parks at its locations.
The final stop on Interstate 75 before crossing the Florida border, the store is off Exit 13 and is open 24/7. It offers many amenities including a Bojangles, a Godfather’s Pizza, Love’s Fresh Kitchen — which offers options such as salads and wraps prepared fresh daily — and Love’s branded snacks.
The new store also offers showers and a laundry facility. For professional drivers, the location adds 111 truck parking spaces to Love’s network along with CAT scales.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Miracle League of Valdosta as it celebrates 20 years of making a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities.

Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 This is curious. Surely most people staying at a Loves are only overnighting. If so, then failing to have most (all?) the sites as pull-throughs (to avoid unhooking the towed vehicle) seems a surprising oversight. I suppose that building back-in sites is easier, cheaper, yields more sites than building pull-through sites. But it strikes me as an amusing variation on the joke: #1- “What are you doing?”
#2 – “Looking for my ___.”
#1 – “Where did you lose it?”
#2 – “Down the street, over there.”
#1 – “Why are you looking here?”
#2 – “The light’s better here.” 🤔😯

My impression exactly! Given the customer base for Love’s is ‘touch & go’, pull-through sites would be what I was looking for! This past spring we stopped at a Love’s for fuel, bought lunch and ate it inside the dog run while our pet got some exercise. We parked in the provided bus/RV lanes adjacent to the back-in sites. Sure, I know how to back into a site. Hate doing it when we only want an overnight.
The only thing missing here is a link to ALL of Love’s locations for RV’s in the U.S.!!!!!
