These motion sensor solar security lights are meant to be mounted on sticks-and-bricks homes. However, forget about mounting and they also make a terrific RV accessory for two reasons:
If you are in the desert or any place where rodents are a potential issue, instead of having bright neighbor-annoying lights burning under your RV all night, put these under the RV and they will only come on if there is movement.
If you are worried about security, whether in the campground or out boondocking in the middle of nowhere, point them outward and you’ll be immediately notified if any person or animal enters your campsite.
Forgo the mounting screws that come with the lights and just place them on the ground, or on the campsite’s picnic table, or wherever else you need them, when you need them.
Since I have spent the last 6 months exploring New Mexico, where rodent threats are constant, these have become one of my most-used RV accessories. I place them in the sunshine during the day to recharge, then move them under the trailer at night where they come on with even the slightest movement. If I am driving, their wedge shape fits right on the front dashboard in the window to charge in the sunshine streaming in the windshield.
As I said, you can also place them around your campsite facing out. Should any man or beast come near, they will be illuminated.

If you do want to mount them, say, near your RV door, mounting screws are included or you could use 3M adhesive tape (not included).
What can be improved?
Longer charges are always good, but these will last a couple of days if left in the dark, so I have no complaints. And if you are not using them under the RV, they will naturally recharge during the day. So I can’t think of anything to improve, as everything works as it should.

I mounted one about waist high above the hitch. Works great when Mother Nature turns the lights out. No banging the shins on the tow bar.
Put a magnet on the back of the light and they can be easily mounted on the RV itself. Just be sure to pick them up before driving off (we have left a few along the roads over the years)

On our bumper tow TT, I have mounted one on each side of the plastic propane tank cover. Returning to the TT after sunset, they have saved shins many times from the end of the tongue.

We parked next to a large DP that had a few of these lights on the side of their rig facing ours. I found out about them when I went to take our dogs out for a stroll just before bedtime. I opened our door and was immediately thrown under the interrogation lights. They eventually went off only to come back on when I returned with our dogs.
Not a fan of these things.
I love them but I use the Harbor Freight [HF] brand. I recently had a bug problem so I installed yellow film. HF brand has two modes [ambient light[partial moonlight] with no motion to bright light [110 lumens] with motion]. The on/off switch is at the bottom, making it easy to turn on and off after it is mounted. Mounting either with 3m two-sided tape or screw but I also do NOT recommend the screw option.
