Oh, my gourd! These Halloween RVs are too cute to spook

Happy Howloween! Ah, remember the good ol’ days when you’d say, “Time to get the decorations down from the attic (er, out of the undercarriage), Honey!” only at Christmas time? Now we say that for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, oh, and Halloween of course. If you’ve walked into any large department store recently (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, Walmart, etc.) you know what I’m talking about. The Halloween decorations take up several aisles, and it’s not just little stuff!

We asked you to submit a photo of your RV if you’d decorated it for Halloween. A few of you have, and here’s what you sent us (*click on the images to make them bigger):

That’s Emily Schneider’s spooky skeleton in Richmond, Kentucky.

Spooktacular! This is Cindy and John Bova’s fifth wheel in East Haddam, Connecticut. They did a bootiful job decorating!

Unboolievable! These paddlin’ skeletons belong to Lynne Sternett. Now that’s humerus!

Here are a few more we found on the CampingRoadTrip.com Facebook page:

Is this where the zombie apocalypse starts?

Let me be frank…this is pretty good.

Oh my gourd! You really can’t beat this one.

Just a hunch…but I think they might like Mickey Mouse.

I’m all out of puns. All I’ve got left is this punkin!

Happy Halloween, folks. Treat yourself to some of your favorite candy (you’re never too old for Halloween candy!).

I do take solar pumpkins with me wherever I go, but it’s not just halloween. It’s a soft glowing light so I can find my way back to my Aliner in a blessedly dark campground. Also makes for great conversations!

These are very cute and I love seeing the creativity. One small request, and this goes for Christmas also. Please please turn off your light and scary sound effects at a reasonable hour.

Is no one going to talk about Cindy and John’s RV with expanding front cap?? I’ve never seen anything like this. What is the purpose?

I’d like to get the decoration of the scary looking monster in the windshield. We could do more boondocking and not worry about anyone bothering us…hahahaha!
