Do you own and/or travel with a motorcycle?

Do you own a motorcycle? If so, do you bring it along with you on your RV travels? One of our recent RV reviews, the Time Out Deluxe Folding Trailer, was one of our most popular reviews ever, which makes us think some of you are interested in towing a small trailer with a motorcycle. How fun would that be?

Please tell us below if you own and travel with a motorcycle. If you do, will you leave a comment and tell us what your setup is? A toy hauler? Motorcycle lift? Read garage loader? We want to know, thanks!

I have owned a 2004 Victory Arlen Ness Edition since 2006 with plenty of Arlen Ness customized additions. No plans of departing with it as they only made 500 of those gems and I know that many of them are no longer on the road or even intact. It has about 2500 clicks and only used in perfect riding conditions. I admit I am a fair weather rider, no rain, no wind, no cold. I drive my car in those types of conditions.

You’re living the life. We traveled almost coast to coast on our Gold Wing until my health issues wouldnt allow me to balance it anymore. No problem. Just get a trike. Big problem. Bought the wrong trike. Without naming names, I’ll just say it’s named after arachnids. Wanted a Triglide, or a Gold Wing conversion, but tried that other thing on a whim. Hope to trade for a real motorcycle to follow our motorhome everywhere.

We have a Grey Wolf toyhauler and a Harley Davidson Road King. We travel full time and the bike gets us around town when we want to sightsee. When we stop, we take the bike out and transform the garage into our bedroom.

Yes, I own a motorcycle. I have a hitch mount and have taken with me on trip. Do I do it regularly, NO wife has no interest in taking a motorcycle ride. I wish I had more time to take RV and motorcycle for enjoying both.

I had motorcycles for many years but at some point I realized my reflexes weren’t up to the task anymore. I finally sold my last one, dried an eye, and moved on. You have to be “on top of your game” to stay alive on a bike. It seems like everyone out there is aiming for you.

I have a small dual sport motorcycle ( along with a larger one) that I bring with me most of the time. it allows me to run to the store if needed, get to out of the way fishing spots, ride Jeep/Trail roads. I have a Class C and I transport the small bike on a Hitch mount Versa Hauler.

I either carry my limited in the bed of my truck being towed or in my 30ft trailer with Jeep and golf cart. Depends on destination.

We bought our tag-axle Country Coach specifically because I wanted that extra load capacity to mount a Hydra Lift on the back, where our BMW Motorcycle rides. We rarely go on the road without it, unless it’s just a quick Winter weekend away. The motorcycle is our REAL hobby, and the Coach is the way we get to ride in interesting places…

Harley Trike. We did a lot of homework and a lot of looking, deciding between toy haulers and Class A’s. Since we don’t have a diesel pickup to tow the toy hauler, we went with a Class A and a 6×12 enclosed trailer. It’s been a good setup for us.

We travel with two BMW’S in a toy hauler. Best way to go sight seeing! We take two Yamaha scooters to the coast. The salt air is easier on them than our old Harley. Ugh!

We have 2 Harleys that we take using an Aluma MT210 motorcycle trailer. Both the Wife and I ride so have to take both to be fair.

Does an electric bike count?

We have a 2008 Harley Ultra Classic and love to take it to sight see the area. We had a Columbus toy hauler but upgraded to a Tiffin Allegro Bus which pulls a tandem tow dolly with the Harley and our Honda Ridgeline pickup. We love the setup!

Wanted a motorcycle as a teen. Became an EMT in my early 20s. Never wanted to be on a motorcycle again; I saw the aftereffects of too many crashes.

it’s accepting the risk, and driving defensively. I know they are not safe. but it’s usually NOT the biker who screwed up. Teach your kids to learn to look out for us bikers by playing a game similar to ‘SlugBug’ play ‘SlugBike!” make it a safe place for all of us. and thank you for what you’ve done as an EMT.

I have an Ultra Classic. Just bought a cargo trailer and installed a Biker Bar so I can take it behind my class c. Wife’s idea. she doesn’t like riding in the city but doesn’t want to have to break came just to run to the store. Baby steps…

The cargo trailer is nice in the winter to act as bike storage as well..

I carry a Honda Trail CT110 on the back of my Born Free. Makes running for groceries and exploring much easier.

We own 2 actually, mine and my wife’s. We have a toy hauler and live in it full time so the bikes are always with us.

I own 2 bikes and travel with the Goldwing, camping along the way.

I bought a Vespa 50cc moped/scooter this year. Thought if the motorhome broke down between exits with no cell service, I’d rather ride than walk or pedal. Tried out how I would ‘see the sites’ at Gettysburg, PA this past October — had a blast & met others who were doing the same. Looking forward to future trips.

Had a Honda gold wing in 89. One day riding it home from work a ‘64 Buick made a left turn in front of me claiming he ever saw me, and 6 weeks later I made it home, never took it RVing with us.

Have a 2004 Harley Road King with sidecar which we always tow behind the Class A; the perfect adventure vehicle wherever we go. Bride on the back and mutt in the sidecar, its a total hoot and we have seen some great places in this country with it. And of course a doggo in goggles is always a hit!

Idont think the activated carbon in a bag will eliminate dust from your house, may be wrong.
