No. The smell gives me headaches. When we go into a restaurant and the people near us have flooded themselves with perfume and cologne, we ask to be moved to a different table. We want to taste our food, not some overpowering odor.
Most people using it do not even realize how bad it is since they are so used to it.

Cologne, yes. Aftershave, not with a full beard.

I use an after shave smoother lotion.
– Very low scent version.

I used to wear cologne/aftershave on a regular basis. Now a days with so many people having sensitivity to scents I don’t use scented products.

Most days I don’t think to wear any cologne. Once in a while we get dressed-up to go somewhere. Some of those times I remember to use cologne. I have a bottle at home and another in the RV. They are more likely to be emptied by evaporation than use.

The DW has sensitivities to many fragrances so I cannot wear cologne or aftershave without causing her trouble.

Got home from the barber yesterday and couldn’t wash the aftershave off fast enough! Yucky smell. When I was working, a large majority of “cologne guys” were Mideasterners. You could smell them walking by your cubicle. Had a sniveling employee I had to give “reasonable accommodations” to, away from other employees so wouldn’t get migraines.

I must have missed something in the Reader Poll: Men, do you wear cologne or aftershave lotion? In the answer section it only has answers for both, not for either, like the question is asked!

Body wash that’s good enough. A good cologne some years back was 75 bucks and up. Just an added expense.

I think they retired my everyday go to cologne. British Sterling. Guess I’ll have to wear my more expensive PS instead.

I don’t use cologne. However, I do use “…the ship that sailed the ocean.”, Old Spice aftershave lotion. Used from about day one in 1953……..

Wow, that dated us! Got my first dose of Old Spice off of Dad on day one of life and 1953, literally.

Nope, use a Tea Tree Moisturizer on my neck when I shave, beard. Scents seem to bother my asthma more as I have gotten older (71) cigarette smoke sends straight to the inhaler and away from smoker.

Been wearing Quorum since the late 80’s and still put on a spritz every day.

I don’t even own any. I can’t tolerate perfumes, cologne, or even scented body washes anymore. We use unscented soaps, detergents, and even deodorants. With more and more people developing allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems as they age, we’ve asked members of our church to stop wearing stuff as well.

Only when going to an “Event”. Which are fewer and fewer.

Don’t shave! Besides, can’t take the smell (even of most women’s) perfumes. Even many scented soaps drive me wild.

What the heck does this have to do with RVing? I think some of these polls are beginning to be off base as to why most of us signed up. I don’t give a hoot if either a man or woman is wearing something they think makes them smell better; in relation to why I read this newsletter.

Hi, travelngjw. We’re sorry you don’t like some of our polls. I would suggest if you don’t like the question, just scroll past those three lines. No one is making you click on the link. BTW, more than 1550 people have voted in this poll. And out of the 28 comments so far, only two have complained about the topic. So I think you’re slightly outnumbered. Have a good night. 🙂 -Diane

When I was younger there used to be an older gentleman who stopped at Wa-Wa at the same time that I was there every day. When he got close all you could smell was the  cologne. I never wanted to smell like that so I stopped wearing it

I have a bottle of Jade East that my mom and dad got me for my 16th birthday in 1971. It’s two-thirds full.

Hi, Gary. I love Jade East, as well as English Leather. Ohhh, the memories from the late-’60s and early-’70s. Thanks! Have a good night. 🙂 –Diane
