You can always tell that we’re hungry when we make our daily poll about food! Come on, food is what makes the world go ’round, right?
When you go out to eat, what meal is it usually? A good ham and eggs breakfast? A yummy sandwich for lunch? Pasta for dinner? We won’t turn down going out for any meal, but there is usually one we go out for more than others. Is it the same for you?
Tell us in the poll below, and then tell us what your favorite thing to order usually is at that meal. Mmmm…
Breakfast, bacon and fried eggs but the grease gets all over. So start with coffee at the RV then off to breakfast.
But I rarely eat out at all…maybe once a month. Traveled from NV to GA (20 days) and back (16 days) and spent only $7.36 eating out.
Breakfast as it’s one meal that people can’t destroy by under or not seasoning.
Usually breakfast. Since the wife works graveyard, we’d get together during the morning.
Not sure between lunch and dinner. Lunch when traveling and dinner when home (voted dinner). Breakfast three times over the last 2 years and all three were last week at the Tampa RV Super Show from the Holiday Inn (where we stayed during the show).
A Wisconsin tradition, Friday night fish fry
So my answer would be Friday Dinner
Lunch
My wife and I have made it a routine to go out to breakfast on Sunday mornings. It gives us a planned time to be together. But when we are in the RV, it is the occasional dinner we eat out. And we will be doing that tonight, as it happens.
It seems in these days of COVID, we mostly go out for “LINNER”. That’s too late for lunch and too early for dinner.
same here!
Yep and usually eaten in the vehicle~
I was surprised that anyone vote that they never eat out
Hardly ever eat out anymore due to the covid virus issue and it’s just too dang expensive, especially for dinner. Food is normally not that good and the service is lousy but they still expect a 20% or more tip.
Totally agree.
Agree
The wife totally loves Mexican so that is an average weekly event, at least weekly. Now and then I can convince her to go to a meat and three type place. Also at lunch. Once a month a friend and I enjoy a local Chinese buffet.
I usually eat out from 2 to 3, when the crowds are gone, but the lunch specials are still on.
As I have never liked crowds, its either a late breakfast (10-11) or late lunch (after 2pm), but almost always at some local place recommended by a local.
We’re not eating out as much because the service and food leaves something to be desired, and I’m not taling about eating at fast food joints
Any of them, sometimes we get up and go out for breakfast, we never go out for normal lunch as that’s when all the working people are eating but after 1PM is ok, we also enjoy an early evening dinner before the supper crowd arrives.
Haven’t been to a sit down restaurant for over a year but maybe once a month we will order something for dinner to be delivered.
Taco trucks for the win. Usually lunch or dinner. Hardly eat out at all since pandemic.
Every Friday – retirees’ early dinner (means dinner around 4:00) is the best. No crowds yet, it is pretty awesome. Never knew how good retirement was until we started all of these new traditions!
We do not eat out very often. Jusr seem to prefer our food these days. But when we travel we like to stop for breakfast a couple hours after we get up. Starts the day off good. A little break an hour or 2 after hitting the road and keeps us full all day until dinner.
