If you didn’t get the memo, today is St. Patrick’s Day! That means everyone who is even .001 percent Irish celebrates and calls themselves Irish! It also means you should be eating corned beef and drinking a Guinness!
Will you do something today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Go out to eat? Go to an Irish pub? An event or festival? Will you just stay in but cook something Irish?
After you vote, please leave a comment and tell us how you plan to celebrate. Cheers!

corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot today
Does turning green and praying to the porcelain God count?
Yup, it sure does . . .
“Woke up, got outta bed, dragged a comb across my head”. 😁😁😁
Our Thursdays include dinner and margaritas at the local Mexican restaurant and we will do that tonight too.
Actually will do two of the above: have to pick up something in town this morning and will be wearing my green T-shirt an my sparkly green hat with gold shamrocks. Then, home to fix the corned beef and cabbage [plus potatoes and carrots]….
I’m a 4th generation American, whose ancestors on both sides came from Ireland in the 1850’s. The next 2 generations just happened to marry full blooded Irish, so I’m still 100% Irish blood. And I was born on St Patrick’s day.
Happy Birthday Fred!

Here at Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort in Mission, TX, we are having a potluck dinner and dance this evening. Beer and margaritas will be flowing. The last park get-together of the season.
going to donate a pint of red at Red Cross.
Going out for lunch it was our anniversary yesterday…
Yep! I’m going to the dentist later this morning. I know, it’s an exciting life I lead . . .did enough partying in my younger days.
My mom used to say this is the day we can all be Irish! I’m going to cook corned beef and cabbage for dinner tonight, invite a few friends and have a Guinness or two. As a retired teacher I also have some St Paddy’s day shirts I used to wear to school, so I’ll throw one of those on too.
Ahhh…going to the doctor.
As my maternal great grandparents came from Ieland we always do a wee bit of something on St. Paddy’s. Frequently it’s baking authentic Irish soda bread, NO raisins, and eating Colcannon with a nice lamb stew.
I always make sure to wear green, that’s all I’ll do though. Probably should do more since I’m half Irish.
One day a year for CB&Cabbage. Too much salt otherwise.
We have been watching the plumbers re-plumb our house for the past two days and today. No water, no sewer. BOY IS IT NICE -to have an RV in the driveway!! You didn’t think this Reader Poll had anything to do with RVing, did you?
Moving day, May listen to some Irish tunes to keep us lively while on the road.
Went to the VA for pre surgery checkup, going to get a knee replaced before camping season starts.
Good luck, David. And happy camping with your new knee! 😀 –Diane
Corn Beef & Cabbage with my bride of 51 years.
nah…unless you count buying my wife of 52-years a McDonalds shamrock shake.
Nope.
Unless you count layin’ low and staying away from all those drunken idiots who have no idea who or what St Paddy is!
Even though I’m Irish I won’t be doing anything.
