Do you eat snacks during the day?

Mmmm… Snacks! Who doesn’t love snacks? It may be possible to not eat them, but you still must love them! Plus, road trip snacks are the best, aren’t they?

During the day do you find yourself snacking between meals? If so, do you snack every day or just on some days? Or do you never snack between meals? If you’re a snacker, what do you most often snack on? Chips? Cheese? Nuts? Fruit? Crackers? All or none of the above? Tell us in the comments after you vote. Thanks!

Grapes with other fruit sometimes.

Snacks are fresh fruits, maybe an apple, banana, handful of grapes, glass of V8 Spicy, or a hot pepper or two. (One cookie equals a 15 minute lecture on health from my wife).

Bananas are fattening, when I went to enlist I the Marines I was 12 lbs over maximum, another prospective recruit was 15 lbs under weight. I was told to suck not chew Lifesavers when I felt hungry, the other young man was told to eat bananas. When we returned 2 weeks later I had lost 16 lbs and he had gained 17lbs which allowed both of us to sign our lives away for 4 years. I can’t complain it made a much better man of me that still lasts today 62 years later. Once a Marine Always a Marine! OOHRAH!

We always have some sort of snack available ranging from fresh fruit to cheese and crackers and the small single bite candy bars, mostly dark chocolate.
Just enough to take the cravings between meals away.

Did you know that pistachios contain complete protein like meat? Look it up if you disbelieve me

Snackaholic

Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 What my mother calls a snack, I call a meal (e.g., a package of beef jerky). No, I essentially never snack between meals. But I do sometimes (especially in the winter when we are burning brush and cannot leave the fire) have something that typically is a snacking item as my meal (e.g., salted peanuts and a Mountain Dew) because it is easily eaten and requires no prep time. Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂

I try to have a coffee break 2-3 hrs post breakfast Coffee being 1/2 hi test 1/2 unleaded + a fruit, vegie or piece toast, and tea between 3-5 pm w/same edibles. Tiffen before bed sometimes malt ovaltine or sweet dreams or sleepy tisanes

We also leave snacks + sugar free gum in the car as chewing helps keep one alert

Snack some day, usually fruit and nuts. Occasionally a cookie (or 2) or some crackers.

Yes, snacks almost every day, but lately more healthful and protein filled.

My snack food is Cheerios. It’s relatively healthy without adding extra sugar or salt. Then there is fruit such as apples, oranges, and bananas, or vegetables such as broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. Not all snack foods are bad.

Don’t eat breakfast so it’s lunch, dinner, and a 1030-1100pm snack.

My go to are slim jims original, trail mix, sandwich cookies, sometimes ruffled chips, apples/nutella, green grapes n dry shredded wheat or cheerios cereal. OCCASIONALLY a payday or dark choc candy bar.
