Couples, this poll question today is for you. Do you think you and your spouse/partner get along better or worse when you’re RVing?
There’s something unique about life on the road that can either bring couples closer or test their patience.
The cozy confines of an RV mean you’re spending more time together, sharing small spaces, and working as a team to navigate new routes, set up camp, and maybe even troubleshoot unexpected issues. For some, this creates an opportunity to strengthen communication and teamwork. For others, it can highlight differences in routines or approaches to problem-solving.
RVing can also bring a shared sense of adventure that many couples find invigorating. Exploring new destinations, discovering hidden gems, and simply sitting by the campfire together can create memories that last a lifetime. However, the occasional stress of travel—like getting lost or dealing with campground logistics—can put tempers to the test.

Stress time is getting ready to go.
I feel we become better partners when we RV. At the house, we have individual routines that require very little interaction but on the road, everything is a team event that requires harmonious cooperation, coordination and communication.
This is so true plus there is a smaller area to clean and no mail

About the same. 6 months in an RV and 6 months in a house. We have known each other for nearly 50 years (46 years married in a few months).
We get along better in the RV. RVing has actually helped us resolve issues that we didn’t have to resolve in a house because there were many places to go and stay angry with each other. in the RV there’s no place to go. You have to get over it and get back together
About the same. Full-time and traveling in our 32-foot class C, married 36+ years.
After 55 years, we still love each other no matter where we are.

Our camping trailers have been small, 10’x6.5’ and 8’x6’ as well as van camping. We have pulled a trailer as much as 12,000 miles in one year on a 3 month trip and we both not only survived but loved it. We will be leaving the end of next month to travel from Florida to California and back, meandering as we go. We plan on being 3 months on the road and will be using our small SUV, tent camping when weather permits. If your spouse isn’t your best friend you need to work on the relationship.

We just celebrated our 60th anniversary yesterday. She is my 1st wife and still my best girlfriend. Doesn’t matter where we are, just so we are together.
