P.B.&J.!!!
A food group unto itself!!!!!!!
Agree but a slight modification….peanut butter and peach preserves!
…and one more modification – peanut butter and honey! Wow!
Peanut butter and banana sandwich, a quick happy meal. Peanut butter fudge.
Kick it up with honey drizzled all over.
It’s probably forever, but I only go back about 40 years. My grocery store has been selling fresh ground peanut butter with only one ingredient. The texture is between smooth and chunky. I learned at a young age to appreciate the peanuts, not the added oils and sugar that commercial brands add.
You should survey about REAL maple syrup.
Our yellow lab loves peanut butter even more. Stuff some into a kong for an evening treat.
I don’t tolerate peanuts well. I am good with tree nuts, so I eat (and love) almond butter, cashew butter, macadamia nut butter…
Same at our house. Wife and kids all allergic to peanuts. We have been grinding almonds for nut butter for many years (grinding your own is half as expensive as buying it in jars).
Decades ago, peanut butter and honey sandwiches fueled my cross country bicycle odyssey.
Peanut Butter! It’s a daily snack 365 days a year and has been for 60+ years. Skippy and only Skippy peanut butter. My grandmother got peanut butter in a can from some older lady (I think it was a government food program, she did not like peanut butter. So my grandmother took it). It was the best tasting. A 2 lb jar is a 2 week supply and I’m the only one eating it. I guess you could say I do love my peanut butter.
You’ve missed out. Jif is better. 😁
We found Adam’s ROASTED crunchy PB in British Columbia. Yum!
My favorite too!
WOW butter…WOW.
Thing I inherited from my dad – that some people think weird – the weird thing is many who try it, like it. I put PB on plain fry-cake donuts. And I stuff the hole.
It’s ok, my wife loves it. Don’t care for the strong smell.
For the last 15 to 20 years my breakfast has been crunchy Peter Pan peanut butter on toast with a glass of chocolate milk. I found it got me to lunch time without needing a snack. And sometimes it is also my lunch.
Do I LIKE peanut butter? I LOVE peanut butter!! If it were up to me peanut butter would be it”s own food group!!!
Hi, Rich. That reminds me of a few months ago when I asked my sister if she were stranded someplace with only one food available, what would it be? I knew she would say “popcorn.” But she didn’t know my choice would be peanut butter.🤣 Have a great day. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
Yes we do, but instead of the regular peanut butter we use cashew butter, due to the health benefits and better heart healthy oils.
I googled it.
“As it turns out, the difference between cashew butter vs peanut butter is that peanut butter contains more fiber, less net carbohydrates, twice as much protein, and is lower on the glycemic index. Cashew butter, on the other hand, contains more iron per serving.”
Hi, Gary. I have no idea why our sometimes-overzealous filter put your comment into the Spam folder. (Maybe it thought “glycemic” was a bad word.🤔🤣) Have a great day. 😀 –Diane
Up until I had covid I hated peanut butter and could not stand the smell of it. After covid I love it!
Covid did some weird things to my taste preference too, used to love salmon, now it makes me gag. Sad….
Yes I do like peanut butter but only the all natural no additional ingredients added kind. Trader Joe’s is my favorite.
Only as Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. As a child, my older sister would make lunch by making peanut butter sandwiches, with the peanut butter probably about an inch thick. It would not just stick to the roof of our mouths, but we also couldn’t breathe. Then she would have the audacity to call out, “Mom, there wasn’t peanut butter for me to have a sandwich….”
I don’t eat pb sandwiches or cookies or…..
I can deal with peanut butter IF it is a peanut butter and sliced kosher dill pickle sandwich.
Yes I like peanut butter. I eat it with apples, stir some onto my oatmeal, mix it into apple sauce (takes a little) and I put it into my chili. We like it with veggies and just a plain PBJ.
Thank you for the question, RV Travel! Yes, I do like peanut butter. A routine dessert when I was young was peanut butter between two vanilla wafers. Have a great day and safe travels!
I love peanut butter. My favorite sandwich is peanut butter, tuna and pickles my favorite snack is peanut butter by the spoonful or small bowl.
I really had to laugh at this question because I was eating peanut butter cookies as I read it.
