Will you be eating Thanksgiving leftovers today?

If you did Thanksgiving “right,” it means you’re still full… but who doesn’t want leftovers? Especially when leftovers consist of Thanksgiving dinner, Round 2! Turkey and ham and mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and green beans and gravy…

Will you have Thanksgiving leftovers today? For lunch? For dinner? For both? Perhaps you’re transforming your Thanksgiving leftovers into another meal like a sandwich, turkey pot pie, a casserole.

Oh, shoot. We’ve made ourselves hungry! That wasn’t supposed to happen…

Today is a day of travel. We leave for Florida and a cruise, so we’ll be away from our refrigerator. However, I plan to sneak a turkey snack before we leave (6:30 AM).

No, but for a couple of reasons. First, it was just the two of us so we enjoyed Foreman Grille grilled chicken breast and mashed potatoes. Second, I “enjoyed” reverse shoulder replacement this past Tuesday so I didn’t want anyone else over and all of the accompanying noises. (The grandkids will come over this afternoon to dote on Papa and his owie shoulder.)

Good luck on your recovery, Wayne. I hope your shoulder is back to 100% soon. Have a great day with the grandkids. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com

Had my left shoulder done about 5 years ago and what a difference. Seeing the surgeon next week about doing the right early next year.

We would have return to the restaurant we ate at last night if we want leftovers, so no.

Yes. Turkey sandwiches are a given, then left over turkey gets made into dog food and frozen and used over the next two months.

Oh yeah. My plate today will probably be bigger than last night. With no interruptions.

Usually yes. But this year we ate at relatives and got no leftovers.

Today is known as St Ralph’s day, the patron saint of leftovers. 😁

Yes, but we call them planned overs. In fact, we intentionally make extra of our favorite dishes for future meals.

Not today, turkey isn’t cooked until Saturday. Leftovers and more football Sunday. Go Hawks!

Since we had our turkey last week (won a thawed turkey at bingo the week before Thanksgiving so we had to cook it right away. So, yes, we’ll have leftovers, but not turkey. We had a thanksgiving roast last night.
