Grand Design has rolled out a short-window rebate on new, previously unregistered 2024 and 2025 fifth wheel models.
This gives RV shoppers a rare chance to collect a factory check after purchasing their RV.
The manufacturer posted the offer directly on its website, explaining that the rebate applies only to qualifying Solitude, Momentum, M-Class Momentum, G-Class Momentum, and Influence models. The checks will go out to buyers after they submit the required paperwork for approval.
Dealer announcements advertising the same promotion confirm the manufacturer-backed nature of the offer and show example units that qualify for the rebate.
Amounts you can expect
Rebate amounts for eligible fifth wheels are listed as:
- $2,500 for Solitude 2024–2025
- $2,500 for M-Class Momentum 2024–2025
- $2,000 for Influence 2024–2025
- $2,000 for G-Class Momentum 2024–2025
Rebate rules
All rebate rules appear in Grand Design’s official announcement. Qualifying RVs must be new and not previously registered. Buyers need to purchase, retail-deliver, and close the transaction between November 1 and December 31, 2025.
The final delivery deadline is January 15, 2026. The rebate form and proof of purchase must be postmarked by January 15, 2026, and received by the company by January 31, 2026. Grand Design will mail the rebate checks once the submitted documents are verified.
Why, and why now?
Manufacturers often use rebates to reduce dealer inventory before a new model-year push. Often, special incentives are issued to help firm up a business’s end-of-year revenue and keep retail interest strong when financing costs or seasonal slowdowns soften demand.
Industry analysts note that brands regularly introduce targeted offers toward winter as dealers make space for incoming units. A factory-level incentive helps move product without forcing dealers to make markdowns. These motivations have appeared across many RV markets as companies balance inventory and sales cycles.
Is it the deal you’ve been waiting for?
For RVers thinking about grabbing the rebate, a little planning smooths the process. Here are some tips:
• Make sure the VIN on the paperwork matches the rebate form.
• Get confirmation that your dealer is submitting the unit as a new retail sale and keep copies of everything you mail.
• If you finance, treat the rebate as a later cash check instead of a reduction to the sales contract so your loan documents remain accurate.
• When trading an older RV, confirm the dealer’s bill of sale clearly shows the new unit’s purchase price and delivery date in case the manufacturer asks for clarification.
• Before signing, compare the final out-the-door price after the dealer discount and factory rebate.
• Check that your preferred floor plan qualifies.
• Make sure no optional upgrades will affect your eligibility.
• Know that some dealers also advertise the promotion on specific in-stock models. If you’re flexible on features, you might find faster delivery and a simpler claim process.
• To verify every detail, visit the official Grand Design rebate announcement. Or ask an authorized Grand Design dealer for the form and complete terms.
• Dealer sites advertising the promotion usually link to the manufacturer, but the Grand Design page is the final authority for deadlines, eligible lines, and submission instructions.

And you can use the rebate check to fix the frame/ flex problem.
I believe that this story is the preface to the impending collapse of the industry for the largest RV builders. Thousands of 2 year old, unsold inventory for all the largest builders, being sent to auction for 50 cents on the dollar to service billions in debt….. Floor financing putting dealers and builders in the red, and on a collision course…..
IMHO, if you own a rig, especially a pre-Covid rig, don’t upgrade quite yet. The entire industry is within 24 months of an upheaval like it has never seen.
A $2,500 rebate now, on a unit that will be available retail for 60 cents on the dollar next spring…..wait it out.
