Keep bugs away from the campsite with the Qremove USB rechargeable portable bug zapper

In the cold of winter and coolness of spring, it’s easy to forget that insect season is upon us! They are coming! You know it and I know it. But this little gadget, the Great Working Tools portable bug zapper, can be a lifesaver. I know it’s kept me from countless mosquito bites over the last two years. It also prevents those annoying little gnats that buzz around your ears from doing so.

The gadget works so well that I have bought several of them for friends—both RVing friends and others who need these in their backyards. It really does work and I am always amazed each morning at how many insects it catches.

What I especially like about the Qremove portable bug zapper

Qremove portable bug zapper used while fishing

  • USB rechargeable.
  • Small and lightweight.
  • Lasts up to 6 hours on a charge.
  • Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
  • The hanger makes it easy to place.
  • The eco-friendly ABS shell prevents accidental finger touch.
  • Virtually silent.
  • 360-degree protection.
  • The purple light is fairly low-key and also works well as a night light.
  • Easy to clean—turn off the power and use the included brush to sweep dead bugs into the trash.
  • Using physical methods to kill mosquitoes is non-toxic, chemical- and radiation-free.
  • It works!

What can be improved?

As with any portable bug zapper, a bigger protection area is better. Inside a small RV, this is adequate. For large RVs or outside use you can always put multiple portable bug zappers out to cover larger areas. I frequently do this and it works well.

If I wanted to nitpick, other brands of portable bug zappers also have multi-function lanterns built in. However, judging from the reviews, they don’t seem to work on bugs as well as this one.

Order the Qremove USB rechargeable portable bug zapper from Amazon.
If that brand isn’t available, here’s a link to more bug zappers at Amazon.

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 Well, the price as right, especially combined with your endorsement. I’ll see if DW approves my purchase request. Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂

can you leave it plugged in to the charger for longer than 6 hours use?

Why use it as it will attract the bugs to your site and all may not get zapped but may zap you instead.
