RV boo-boos – “And the Greatest RV Mashup Award goes to … “

By Russ and Tiña De Maris
OK. We’re not sure if this mashup technically qualifies as an RV boo-boo. Much depends on your definition of “boo-boo.” If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you’re likely in one of two camps—cheering, or retching!

We’ve had some odd truck-camper combinations in our past, but nothing that EVER came close to this one. Well, maybe the camper…

If you’ve seen, witnessed, or had your own “RV boo-boo” moment and have a photo to share with others, let us know. Fill out the form below, and put “boo-boo” on the subject line. Be sure to link your photo with the attachment tool on the form. Thanks to George Bliss (again) for this week’s win!

Russ and Tiña De Maris
Russ and Tiña went from childhood tent camping to RVing in the 1980s when the ground got too hard. They've been tutored in the ways of RVing (and RV repair) by a series of rigs, from truck campers, to a fifth-wheel, and several travel trailers. In addition to writing scores of articles on RVing topics, they've also taught college classes for folks new to RVing. They authored the book, RV Boondocking Basics.

I think that the camper in the house is photo-shopped. To clean are the edges of the house.

That truck camper is a hodgepodge of parts bolted onto an existing truck. You can see the original blue hood above the Cadillac fenders the rest is done with paint, the ‘57 Chevy rear fender trim is probably stuck on with double sided tape. As someone said the motorhome in the house is photo cropped with no apparent damage to home or RV. This is the kind of junk that doesn’t need to be in here, maybe I’m an old grouch but I don’t see anything funny about either picture.

Next time wait until after you have had your morning coffee before posting. I think that as unfunny as those pictures are, your post is even “more unfunny”.

Very creative, no one will ever steal this. Then again, I am looking forward to double decker motorhomes with second level slideouts, stairs and slides for the kids.
