Airstream, Inc. has just added another feather to its “silver helmet.” The RV Dealers Association (RVDA) has once again granted the RV builder with Quality Circle Awards for both Airstream’s towables and motorhomes. The Airstream awards come as a result of RVDA’s 30th Annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) following responses from 585 dealership locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Airstream has walked away a Quality Circle award in the Towable Category every year since 2012, and has won in the Motorized Category since 2013.
Airstream awards come from dealer recognition
“The DSI results recognize top-rated manufacturers in several important areas of dealer and customer support, which is more important than ever as the industry works to reduce Repair Event Cycle Time,” said RVDA Chairman of the Board Ryan Horsey of Parkview RV Center in Smyrna, Delaware.
Each of the 19 RV manufacturers/brands honored received at least 15 dealer responses and scored 4.25 or above on a 5-point scale in overall dealer satisfaction. When rating the brands, RVDA asks dealers to express, confidentially, their level of satisfaction on the topics of reliability/quality, parts, warranty, and sales.
Airstream is one of only five RV brands to win a Quality Circle Award in both categories of towables and motorhomes.

19 RV manufacturers/brands received awards. Does anyone not get an award?
Thank you, Russ and Tina! Well, Thor must have a “hands-off” strategy with Airstream if they are winning any quality awards. Pretty shocking, unless these awards are meaningless. I wonder if there is a third plausible explanation? Have a great day and safe travels!
