Need an excuse to celebrate? Today is National Bikini Day! But if you’re not wearing a bikini, perhaps you can celebrate National Graham Cracker Day instead. (Or if you’re camping at the beach, how about eating s’mores in your bikini? Just a thought.)

Thor refuses to help with RV repair: “Only 60 days’ warranty left”!
By Dave Solberg
Dear Dave,
… Our RV’s tanks fell out. The cross members were either badly welded (the one under the island and the other middle one) or not welded at all (the front and rear). It was a wonder they lasted as long as they did and we didn’t get in a bad wreck.
Unfortunately, when we called Dutchmen about this issue, the person who took our call said, “Your warranty is up in 60 days.” They would not speak to us. … —Elizabeth, 2022 Dutchmen Astoria 3173RLP

Alliance Paradigm 395DS fifth wheel is two suite for words

By Tony Barthel
Today’s RV review is of the 2024 Alliance Paradigm 395DS fifth wheel. This is not a new model for the company but it is one that reflects the changes they are making moving forward with regard to interiors and just their branding. While the company is relatively new, they have really benchmarked themselves as a high-quality brand that is very customer-focused.

It may be time to inspect your trailer brakes and bearings
By Dustin Simpson
When was the last time you did a trailer brake inspection? During a recent wheel bearing service, we found that this customer’s brake shoes were worn down on three out of the four brakes. This also caused damage to the drums. We also found that the roadside rear brake magnet wiring was cut in half and that the backing plate/shoe and drum were rusted. We found that all bearings were burnt and loose in bearing cages due to lack of lubrication.

Animals are no prob-llama at this KOA
By Nanci Dixon
It’s not every day that a herd of llamas is seen camping at a KOA! Much to the delight of our friends Jay and Leslie Pederson, a horse trailer pulled up at the Henderson, Nevada, KOA and started unloading. They never expected that the Phaeton motorhome next to them was hauling a bunch of llamas from Wild Oak Llamas! What a fun story!

Taco Meatloaf
by Holly Black from Fairview, TN
Mexican flavors and meatloaf? You bet! We absolutely loved this dinner. This twist on meatloaf is perfectly moist and spicy. Easy to make, it tastes like a combination of a cheeseburger and a taco. If there are any leftovers, crumble the meat up and sprinkle over nachos. Yum!
Trivia
In 5 B.C., ancient Rome became the first city to reach a population of one million. It would be more than eighteen centuries, in 1800, before the second such city, London, would reach that milestone.

Lost our black water tank on a Dutchman 5er. A repair company did fix it and charged the trailer company. It was a cheap as you can manufacturing assembly, this Rv had a 2 year warranty thank goodness lots of little repairs. Even they forgot to put outter wheels in slides.
Was cheap manufacturing
Thank you, Emily, Diane, and Kim! 🙂 Have a great weekend, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
Our local American Legion club has a complaint sign similar to Chucks above – except the mouse trap is replaced with an animal bear claw trap! Ouch for sure! (We don’t get any complaints!).
I think I have one at home. Might think about getting that set up. Thanks for the giggles.
