Both keep that classic Bigfoot build, but they follow different power paths, which makes the choice pretty interesting. See how they compare here.

Everything you need to know about RVing: RV Tire Basics 101
By Dave Solberg

Will you go south for the winter in your RV for at least two months?
Quick tip
How much propane do you have?
You can buy a special electronic gizmo that will help you figure out how much propane you have, but there are less expensive ways. Check your tank early in the morning when dew hits the bottle. Where the dew line on the metal stops, that’s the level of LP left in your cylinder. Some RVers dump really hot water down the cylinder and look to see where condensation forms. If you have a scale, you can weigh the bottle, and deduct the weight (you’ll find that weight, it’s marked next to the letters “TW” on the carrying yoke) of the bottle. Propane weighs 4.24 pounds per gallon.
Now is a good time to clean out your water heater!
Have you ever seen the sediment that collects in your water heater? You probably don’t want to. Camco’s water tank rinser is an easy-to-use gadget that is a must-have for any RVer. The tank rinser will get out all the yucky sediment that’s been sitting at the bottom of your water heater and, most importantly, will extend the life of it, too. Read the many positive reviews, and get one for yourself here.

Louisiana State Parks: Camping
Since Sunday, November 9, was National Louisiana Day, we figured we’d share the Louisiana State Parks Camping page with you. Look at these parks – they’re beautiful! Have you camped at any of them?
And the survey says…
We’ve polled RVtravel.com readers close to 5,000 times in recent years. Here are a few things we’ve learned about them:
• 46 percent have shopped at Walmart many times within the last month.
• 73 percent bring a portable propane grill on their RV trips. Only 9 percent carry a portable charcoal grill with them.
• 11 percent say their RV has an outdoor kitchen, but only 7 percent of those say they actually use theirs.
Recent poll: In general, do you reserve the majority of your campsites far in advance or book last-minute?
? MYSTERY PRODUCT OF THE DAY ?
One food, and only one food, is close to universally popular among North Americans. It is, perhaps, the definitive comfort food. If we even mention it, you will crave it. And it even has its own store on Amazon. Do not click if you are afraid of igniting an overwhelming desire for this that may drive you crazy.
Trivia
A majority of reported moose attacks involve dogs, as moose view them as predators or potential threats. Pets should be kept on a leash when recreating outdoors, especially near riparian habitats where moose prefer to live. Use rocks, trees, or vehicles as barriers between people and moose if spotted while recreating outdoors.

To all current and past military and their families, thank you for your service!
There is no higher honor than to serve your country. Every Veteran is a hero! Thank You!
“Thank you” says this Vietnam veteran!
This Vietnam veteran also thanks you. It was an honor to serve!
Quick Tip on propane tanks. All my primary tanks are now Flame King tanks with built-in float gauges. They reliably tell me the liquid level in the tank without any external devices or procedures. The tanks stay mounted until I remove them for refill. And the additional cost is minimal. The only downside? If you like to do tank exchanges, the float gauge is built into YOUR tank and transferrable.
Do you mean non-transferrable??
Thank you RVT for honoring Veterans Day. Each generation seems to be less concerned about our history and why we should be proud to be Americans, and in this case proud and grateful to our veterans. It’s not just an excuse for retailers to have a sale.
Oliver sounds like the perfect traveler.
thanks for sharing
There have been been numerous complaints about the plastic Camco flush wand breaking off inside the tank!
There are better alternatives with metal wands.
As Bill Coady wrote yesterday, Firefox + ABP prevents the ads (for a paid subscriber). If only Firefox wasn’t such a memory hog….
I never got ads on RV travel until this week. I’m using adware, but it’s not working any more. If I open it in brave browser no ads. not sure whats changed.
When I open it in Brave, I can not see any articles with out disabling Brave Shields. If I do disable it there are so many ads, it is very distracting.
Thank you all for your service
I am very disappointed in the new policy of having to disable adblocker to be able to read any of the articles. If this continues I will be dropping RVTravel. I have been a subscriber for a long time.
Semper Fi brothers
Back at you, sir. Happy Marine Corps birthday to all our brothers as well.
Oliver is a cutie, thank you for rescuing. Looks like he enjoys camping and traveling!
