Modern technology is amazing. Now you can communicate with just about anyone from anywhere regardless of cellular availability … via satellite. Introducing Find Me Spot. This is a 2-way satellite messenger service that requires a monthly subscription fee based on your chosen options. Here is an outline of the product:

Built-in compass and programmable waypoints to help you navigate.

IMPORTANT SPOT X TIPS
SPOT X needs a clear view of the sky with no obstructions
SPOT X is not reliable at the bottom of a deep canyon, in a cave, in an abyss, or in very dense woods.

Another cool feature I liked was being able to purchase a tracking device…..attach it to anything of value and find it anywhere in the event it is stolen.
