Chicken Spaghetti Casserole
by Steve Young from Tupelo, MS
This is a different spin on the traditional chicken casserole, and it’s tasty. Diced green bell pepper, celery, and onion add freshness to the dish. There’s just enough creamy sauce for the delicate angel hair pasta to absorb. Cheese and Panko crumbs on top add a satisfying crunch once baked. Pair it with a crisp salad, and you’ve got one satisfying weeknight dinner. Click here for the recipe.
Spaghetti and Meatball Soup
by Vanessa Marie Milare from Hilo, HI
Serve this spaghetti and meatball soup with a piece of bread or garlic knots for a satisfying meal. The taste has everything you love about spaghetti and meatballs. Mini meatballs are browned in the traditional Italian style that adds more flavor to them. Then, they simmer in a mixture of marinara sauce, tomato soup, diced tomatoes, and water. The spaghetti is also cooked in the sauce, so the tomato flavor is infused throughout the soup. We enjoyed this soup. Here’s the recipe.
Lightning Fast Healthy Spaghetti
by Michelle Worthy from Houston, TX
This spaghetti dinner proves eating healthier doesn’t mean you can’t have comfort food. Instead of ground beef, the meat sauce is lightened up with ground turkey. With the onions, bell peppers, garlic, and seasoning, it’s filled with flavor and you might not even realize ground turkey was used. As the sauce simmers, it thickens up. If you think it’s too thick, use water to thin the sauce (we used 12 ounces). Serving the sauce over whole wheat or protein spaghetti for a hearty (and healthy) weeknight meal. Get the recipe here.
Spring Hill Ranch’s Pasta With Tomato Cream Sauce
by Wiley P. from Sierra Vista, AZ
Creamy tomato pasta is a restaurant favorite and this recipe shows how you can recreate the recipe at home. The hardest part is gathering and prepping the ingredients. The white wine tomato cream sauce is silky and fragrant. Folding in chopped basil adds a punch of its sweet and pungent flavor. We opted to add mushrooms and shrimp to add an earthy note to the pasta dinner. When presented, you’d think this dish would be heavy. While it is rich, this romantic meal is surprisingly light. Chicken Spaghetti
by Jeanne Benavidez from Odessa, TX
If you’re trying to get a home-cooked meal on the table after a busy day, make this easy chicken spaghetti. It’s super cheesy and creamy. Boiling the spaghetti in chicken broth adds so much savoriness to the dish. The creamy soups balance out the punch of spice from the Rotel tomatoes. Velveeta melts and melds with the other ingredients and gives the dish its signature gooeyness. This whole meal is quick, easy, and made in one pot. Win-win all around. Here’s the recipe.
“Old School” Spaghetti
by Tara Waites from Dallas, TX
While this is called spaghetti, it’s not your traditional spaghetti dinner. It’s almost like an American-style goulash or casserole. This recipe came about with items that were on hand and became a favorite. And boy is it good! It’s full of flavor and spice. Corn adds a touch of sweetness. A nice, hearty meal that can serve a family on a budget and stretch your dollars. Since it’s fairly easy to throw together, it’s a great weeknight meal. Click here for the recipe.
