In the video above we join Glen from Tall Man’s RV Reviews to tour the spacious 2024 Durango Gold G391RKF Fifth Wheel by KZ RV.
This is a MONSTER of a fifth wheel—larger than many small sticks-and-bricks homes. Upon walking in, you are greeted by an enormous living room. I mean, you could have a decent-sized party in here! If you need an RV to entertain guests, put this one high on the list!
The expansive open space spills over into the equally large kitchen and dining area.
The U-shaped kitchen is a cook’s dream and outfitted as well as any luxury apartment, including an ENORMOUS refrigerator freezer, another element that makes the perfect RV for entertaining and parties. There is a ton of solid surface counter space and a bar seating area that could be used for additional prep space. You will cook on a full-sized 4-burner range and full-sized oven. There’s also a large convection microwave. Cleanup happens in the large stainless steel farmhouse-style sink and the full-sized dishwasher.
The kitchen layout is smart, and obviously someone who cooks put a lot of thought into it.
The bathroom features his and hers sinks, plenty of cabinets and drawers, and a huge linen closet.
Having a tall man review RVs comes in handy, especially when it comes to bathrooms. Our 6’4” host had no issues in this one, either on the toilet or in the shower. In fact, he could comfortably stand in the shower without being under the skylight, which adds additional headroom.
I like the adjustable bed in the bedroom. Not only does it make reading or watching TV more comfortable, it can give you more bedroom floor space during the day. The second fireplace heater in the bedroom is a nice touch.
One bedroom closet is prepped for a washer/dryer. Even if you choose this option, you’ll still be left with plenty of hanging closet space.

What’s not to like?
The 90-gallon gray water tank just seems like silly overkill, especially since this rig’s fresh water tank is 76 gallons. Use that space for something more useful!
Maybe if this was meant to go somewhere, park it, and never move, the five (count them, 5!) slides might seem like a good idea. To me, it sounds like a maintenance nightmare. But, of course, whether you see this as a pro or con will depend on your needs and how you intend to use this RV.
While the shower is indeed tall, it lacks a little room on the width measurement. Not a huge issue, as you can turn sideways, as you will see in the video. However, extra wide folks might want to look into this.
The shelves in the bedroom are fairly useless unless you never intend to move. Ditto the shoe shelves in the bedroom closet. In my opinion, these are all poorly thought out and a waste of otherwise usable storage space. Yes, you can fix it, but why didn’t they do the right thing in the first place? Again, if you never intend to move it’s not a big deal. But this is an RV, so I assume it is intended to travel, at least part of the time.
Of course, a monster fifth wheel will require a monster truck to tow it.

Nice unit. But the slide out would block the fridge when pulled in. That would kill it for me. Otherwise its a great layout.
Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 Yes, quite an eye-catching size. I expected an MSRP closer to $200,000, given what appears to be there. Almost 10 tons, if fully loaded, is a big, heavy RV. How large a truck is required to safely pull and stop it? A 350/3500? Thank you for finding and sharing this, Cheri! 🙂 Safe travels! 🙂
