Website helps find available campsites in “sold-out” campgrounds

PRESS RELEASE
Carlsbad, CA (November 19, 2019) – CampsitePhotos.com, the most comprehensive source of campsite photos for U.S. campgrounds, has announced the launch of Campsite Assist. Campsite Assist is an online tool that finds available campsites at sold-out campgrounds and alerts the user via text and email when a campsite becomes available. The alert also includes a link to the reservation website so the user can immediately attempt and reserve the campsite.

According to Eric Edwards, Founder & CCO, “As most campers know, getting a reservation at a popular campground is very difficult. We developed Campsite Assist specifically to try and help campers get a campsite at a sold-out campground on the dates they want to camp.”

Campsite Assist allows users to choose a campground, date of arrival, number of nights and frequency of scans (every 3, 13 or 33 minutes). A one-time fee is charged for each scan request. Scanning will start immediately after payment and run continually up until the date of arrival. Users can change the date of arrival and number of nights at any time (for no extra charge).

Users also have the ability to include or exclude ADA, equestrian and group campsites. Other features will also be added in the coming months.

CAMPSITE ASSIST currently scans all reservable campgrounds and properties listed on Recreation.gov (2,883) and ReserveCalifornia (235+). “Campsite Assist does not book reservations, but it will notify people the second a site becomes available. It’s then up to the user to complete the reservation,” added Edwards. Recreation.gov includes many National Parks, USFS and other campgrounds. ReserveCalifornia handles all California state parks, beaches and recreation area campgrounds. Campsite Assist will add other reservation agency sites, such as ReserveAmerica, in the near future.

CampsitePhotos.com currently includes more than 1,600 public campgrounds in its database, as well as some RV parks, with new locations added weekly. Additional campground information and reservation links are included on each campground page.

Campsite Assist is worthless!!!
Great idea, but a total flop in delivering results.
Don’t waste your money, time or hopes…
