The landscape of RV dealers continues to change. Mom-and-pop RV dealers used to be the order of the day. Nowadays, trying to find an independent dealer is getting tougher. Now another independent is gone, this time in Kentucky.
Blue Compass RV claims it’s the fastest-growing RV retail company in the United States over the past six years. It now numbers more than 100 locations in 33 states and claims more than 1,000 service bays.

Blue Compass RV announced the acquisition of Patriot RV in the Lexington, Kentucky, market. The store has been rebranded to Blue Compass RV. The “new” Blue Compass location is along I-75.
It’s not the first Blue Compass takeover. Perhaps the most shocking to the RV community is when Blue Compass took over RV road-service provider Coach-Net last year. Thank you, Russ and Tina! 🙂 Yes, I guess we’ll see. Hmm, … Coach Net acquired by Blue Compass? Well, perhaps that is why Coach Net isn’t selling extended service contracts. Interesting … https://youtu.be/krD4hdGvGHM?feature=shared . Have a great day and safe travels! 🙂

Not sure I would lump Costco and Walmart together.
As I’ve said before, I sometimes like living under a rock. I don’t go to either, so I guess I don’t really know the difference.
I guess an alternative would have been to “force” the owners to stay open and independently operate to it’s own economic peril?
Wondering how Loves expects 45ft Class A’s towing to access their Auto and Diesel pumps to receive the fuel discount? I can’t go near those pumps due to size, we have to use the truck lanes…apparently without a discount.
